Lovely dog friendly pub with a great menu! Ordered the salt and pepper chicken and the steak pie for mains, and a sticky toffee pudding for desserts- I don't think we could get over how tasty everything was.
Went with a friend after work, so grabbing a table was easy; staff were friendly and attentive. The price of food was reasonable, too. Will be going again. Thanks to the team!

I went to the plough for lunch its the first time I've been there. The staff was very welcoming directed myself and friend to a nice table. The waitresses are very attentive and polite. This is a nice relaxed pub and the food is really good .their carvery looks outstanding although I had fish and chips which was really nice and cooked well. Portion sizes are good you won't leave the plough feeling hungry. Prices reasonable too. Well worth a visit. 👍🍽🍷..

I'm such a fussy eater but I can't complain of the food at this pub, it was so delicious and tasty and tender..
The service was second to none, also the staff were so pleasant..

Delicious meal and both very happy. Creamy Garlic and mushrooms sauce was amazing with my steak. Great staff and would definitely recommend.
Another favourite for our sunday roast have been coming here for a good few years. Just like a homemade dinner. Staff are vey nice to.
Little bit cold, could of done with a heater but maybe just because it was Monday night and quiet. That being said the staff where lovely. The food was unreal. My aunt and I both had patè to start and my cousin had halloumi fries. Delicious. I had salt and pepper chicken, fried rice, chips and curry sauce for my main and it was unreal. I don’t think I ate it all because there was such a great portion. My aunt had braising steak with mash and veg and that looked beautiful. She said it was gorgeous. My cousin had chicken curry with rice and naan and said it was really nice and not overly spicy as she’s not a fan of hot curries. Didn’t do dessert as we where so stuffed. Went today after being took over inside much better than before ordered rump steak well done honestly was like rubber chips were disgusting and hard and look like been cooked in dirty fat also ordered a burger for my grand son and that was burnt and tasteless and dry son had a roast dinner no way as good as last owners may look better in side but food gone down and same menu.
I was told the plough had just reopened so decided to go for food and it was delicious. Nice to see it open again and the manageress is lovely, felt really welcomed. Will definitely be back.
