Lovely food, friendly staff, decent atmosphere, nice views, alongside the canal. It's worth a visit for lunch with friends book tho not to be disappointed as gets very busy.
Sunday lunch with family, amazing service, great gluten free options (including roast with gravy and I brought my own yorkies 😂) and kids option was lovely too. Gluten free lager in the fridge too.
Set menu was a great deal and really recommend booking the library room for group events, it's nice an
The Ship at Lathom is a gorgeous little pub sat next to the Leeds/Liverpool canal (that passes through Lathom).
It is the epitome of a small, countryside village pub. This is shown through its interior/exterior decor, staff, visitors and good old English pub food.
My last visit was for a family me
My fiancée, friends, and I stopped by this establishment on our way back from a trip to Southport, and we were thoroughly impressed with our experience. The food and drink were both top-notch, and the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and taken care of. The pub itself boasts stunni
Such a beautiful place, with plenty of parking, but definitely a place you need to book, as it gets busy. The food is fantastic quality and excellent pricing. We had the burger with black pudding; it was huge, but neither of us felt bloated or stuffed, which for me shows the quality of the products
I have been to alot of pubs for food and this one has hit the top of the list for being one of my favourites! Absolutely delicious food, lovely pub, friendly staff great service and is right next to the canal! So even better on a summers day. I will definitely be returning to try more food off the
We had lovely lunch there, fish and chips, goujons, ham and potato rosti. All generous portions and very tasty. Batter was fantastic and crispy! Beer bit smooth flowy of the two tried, but it's becoming harder and harder to get a decent pint these days. Overall definitely will be returning!
Such a lovely pub in a perfect spot. I would highly recommend the canal cruise. Mike and Abigail are excellent hosts and the views are beautiful
Great pub in great surroundings. Food prices are reasonable and there's a large car park.
Very busy pub out the way lovely food too
Great food and beer. Lots of seating indoors and out. Staff very nice and helpful. Food good value and plenty of it. The fish of the day was superb. The sausages are excellent. The desserts are amazing.
This is a superb pub/restaurant. Excellent service from friendly and enthusiastic staff.
The food was superb. I would, recommend booking as it is very popular at lunchtime, which does not surprise me..
I had brie and caramelised onion sandwich £10.50 + chips £3.50. So it's £14 inclusive. A smallish portion without the chips. Not unusual post covid.
Nice though.
We shared our anniversary here it was so lovely
Brilliant stopover in our campervan. We were made to feel welcome from the moment we enquired. Lovely chatty staff who were working really hard to attend to everyone (it was rammed at 13.00 on a Tuesday!). Food was super, great selection of local real ales. Well done on a beautiful, warm and welcomi
