We stay once a year to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Very quiet, very restful, beautiful gardens. Close to moors for walks and views.

It's always lovely to visit Lastingham Grange, which stands out like a beacon of high quality in a sea of mediocrity. Everything about my stay was good, from the beautifully decorated bedroom to the little touches like free morning papers and delicious little tiny snacks with one's evening drink.
Lovely location with friendly and very polite staff. Great to have a scone and a pot of tea after a walk on the moors.

I dined at the restaurant and had coffee on the terrace, which gives on to the garden. The hotel and grounds are absolutely lovely and the service was fantastic. However, the food was really subpar, price notwithstanding. Iād visit again but only to have sandwiches or afternoon tea on the terrace.
Hidden Gem .understated from the road. Beautiful rose garden to enjoy while we had our tea and scones. Staff had wonderful sense of humour yet professional..which was what we needed in such difficult times. Our party included a 14 month old baby. A dog a Gluten free and also Dairy free. Nothing too
