We enjoyed an outstanding meal here, food was beautifully cooked. The portions were generous too. The pub is cosy and well decorated, the staff were friendly too.

Lovely pub set in a small moorland village, definitely should be on your visit list! A very well organized restaurant that can get very busy, so it's essential you book. Sunday lunch was very good! Wonderful atmosphere and there are rooms available if you'd like to stay over! To top it off there's an excellent circular walk across the fields to Hutton le Hole and it's chocolate shop! Bliss.

Stayed here for one night as a last minute getaway. Room was absolutely lovely, food wonderful and the pub was incredibly friendly and cosy. Staff couldn’t do enough to make our stay perfect. We’ll definitely visit again. Would highly recommend.

Food is fantastic, you arrive to a warm welcome and the pub has a wonderful atmosphere. The homemade tiffin at the end of the meal was the perfect finish.

Beautiful little pup split in to several smaller dining rooms. We went for a family dinner on a Sunday. My wife had the Sunday dinner with lamb which she said was cooked beautifully and I had possibly the BEST steak pie I have ever had. And veg came out in bowls to help your self.

We were staying in Hutton Le hole for a few days and 7 of us Went for a family meal. Sat in garden as had a little dog with us but didn’t mind cos was a lovely evening and garden was busy with other customers so lovely atmosphere. The food was absolutely fabulous and value for money. Wish we had found this place sooner and not our last night. This is definitely the best pub around and well worth a trip out

Lovely Pub. Love the fireplace with all the pots and pans around it. Food was delicious 😋 and so was our drinks. Had a lovely Belly Pork served with Pan fried Scallops and Celeriac Pave with Black Pudding and 🍏 Apple Purée. Served with Vegetables. Very very filling. Lovely views of the Church and Church Yard in front of the 🍻 pub. Well worth the visit.

Can’t comment on the rooms as we only came for food. We were staying at keldy forest lodges and drove past this place earlier on in the day and decided to book a table for the evening. The food was outstanding! The place itself is very warm and welcoming and all the staff were very friendly. I would highly recommend this place to anybody.

We were looking for something a little nicer than the usual pub grub and we’re recommended here. It is a really special place with fantastic food and very reasonable prices, a great find and we look forward to returning. The steak and ale pie was particularly good

We arrived after a mornings walk and had enjoyed a lovely lunch. The service for 11 of us was excellent. We phoned in a takeaway order for 7.00pm and again the service and the food was excellent. The staff were so helpful. Our evening was made all the more enjoyable by the lovely food we enjoyed back at our cottage.
