The food is awesome here, dirty steak fries and stick toffee pudding were unbelievably good! Really nice atmosphere to eat and drink.
Just moved to the area and The polton is the new local. Had our first meal and cannot compliment the 2 young lads that were working that nice. Super friendly and attentive. Dog friendly. I’ll defo be back.

Very family friendly place, great hosts and the food is good although didn't rate the steak pie but everything else was perfect. The decor and lounge layout has been renewed and its looking really good. Happy to see this place open again and wish the new team all the success.
Very welcoming hosts. Good food although steak pie wasn't the best, short crust pastry which was quite hard however the filling was tasty enough. Very child friendly. We will be back again though
Nice wee place, quiet but the folk there were lovely! Even the dogs were well received. Going back one day for food!
Just been recently refurbished and wasn't expecting much when we decided to head there.
Arrived and hit the bar area, place looked great, bar staff very friendly and helpful. Great setup for watching the football with a big TV.
Restaurant area looks great as well, haven't sampled the food just yet but it's on the cards.
First time here ,warm friendly welcome as we came in ,food excellent and good value ,burger and home made chips so nice and nachos too ,will be back again
We were at a wedding reception here recently! Oh my God it was brilliant!!! All the staff are sooo sound and friendly and just so accommodating! Food was gorgeous! Prices so good!!We will definitely be back.xx
