A lovely spot for coffee or lunch. I have been here many times and always find the staff friendly and attentive. There is a varied lunch menu, and the food is delicious. To top it off you have a wonderful sea view.
what a wee hidden treasure - this wonderful wee coffee shop / cafe is fabulous. Staff are really friendly and helpful, afternoon coffee was amazing and great choice including gluten free choices. The location is brilliant with perfect sea views and would be wonderful for anyone wanting a lovely walk by the sea. We didn't even know the cafe existed and was recommended by a friend but easy to find as you can either follow the sat nav or follow the signposts for the Leisure centre in Larne - park in the car park beside the sea and the the cafe is part of the Leisure Centre building - We are looking forward to going back for lunch some day or the special 'afternoon tea' served in the old fashioned china with table cloths etc and only £9.95 which is a bargain. (you do have to book the afternoon tea though 24 hours in advance which would be no problem) - they even said they would do a special gluten free option too which is amazing. A great wee spot in Larne and well worth a visit.

It's definitely the simple things in life, I was asked to go to the dementia group outin and thought day out on my own away from everything life throws at me, why not! Well what a surprise I had! I thought bus outing meal and home, no not the lovely down to earth Louise magill and Trisha small had In in mind, we were treated like celebrities for the day, picked up at the prom cafe took to carrickfergus in a luxurious mini bus then the bank house at whitehead for a fabulous lunch then down to ballygally castle for gin and tonic and then the loveliest lunch again served by my wee Scottish pal who got a shock when she saw me lol then onwards to glenarm castle for an amazing beef and salmon lunch ( have ate salmon but never smoked salmon which I can say was awesome) left there and back to ballygally for ice cream with loads of drink on the bus and finished off at the prom cafe with the lovely alison serving us scampi, this trip was with toast of the coast with the lovely porcha who I would def recommend, not one bit did I feel like a carer today but I felt like cathy and the lovely Sharon who's words to me made my day, thank u to all who made a day a fabulous day, love to all , here's to the next time x
Fantastic staff, very friendly good customer service great food and always great for catch with friends and bring family and people who have never been to the Prom cafe.
Hands down theeeee best eaterie in Larne area. Food is always great, atmosphere great and above all service is always outstanding! This is the type of place that goes the extra mile for their customers and that's why they keep them! Something special here and it's definitely my happy place! If you've not been get in and visit Louise and her lovely team of staff!

This place never disappoints - my fave coffee shop in larne. Staff are fantastic as is the food/ coffee... oh and the view if you're lucky to nab a window seat :)
Love the Prom. Great food & coffee ( I'm fussy about coffee) excellent service every time. Highly recommend the Prom!
A warmer welcome you'll never get ! Fantastic breakfast from Jimmy & a mouthwatering array of goodies on offer. Many thanks to Louise, Nan & all the staff.
Definitely the best Ulster fry around, great food, great staff, never disappoints.
Myself & a friend called in here for coffee & a catchup on Sunday, it was packed & we couldn't get a seat so decided to try elsewhere, on our way out Louise took us back in & found us a table. Even though it was packed Louise still found the time to come over & have a chat, she even sent me home with a wee pressie for my mum!! ( They were delish by the way!!).
Had the Christmas dinner today and it was fantastic ... service is probably around the best you'll get in the town. Can't beat the breakfasts either at the weekends for a nice wee treat.
Lovely place to eat view beautiful and staff very pleasant and helpful
Great cafe on the promanade in Larne. Food was great I had a New York burger which came with salad and homemade chuncky chips. Staff were friendly. The place is very popular so is busy but the food came really quickly.
Very good cafe with large selection of food and if you need it healthy living food. Good parking front and rear carparks, and nice walks and cycle rides along the shore
Prom Cafe is a cafe located on the promenade. I went there after reading all the good opinions about this place on the internet and Im soooo happy I decided to eat there. Long time ago my belly was so nicely spoiled :)
All the vegan options , pancakes, cakes, coffe..plus this stunning view from the windows is all what you need in the morning - believe me :)
Place was full at that time which only mean that the food need to be great.
We wait a little bit too long but food recompensated this at the end.
You will not regret it ! 👍
Perfect spot if you have a dog. Beach to front. Dog friendly inside and out, becoming rarer in NI unfortunately! Cappuccino on the terrace for me but welcome inside ❤️🐾🌞👍
Love visiting The Prom Cafe. Recently it has been very busy however, there is a great vibe and buzz in the Cafe and considering the recent news that so many hospitality businesses are suffering and ultimately closing as a result, it’s great to see in our local town. Despite being busy, all the staff work really hard to provide an excellent customer experience. It is especially great for dog owners with there being a designated area, bowls of water provided also. Staff are very informative re menu information, prices and if on the odd occasion there is a wait time. Brilliant variety on the menu and delicious when served. Will continue to visit. Make sure to check it out and the home made chips are a must, especially at Xmas!!! Well Done All
Amazing cafe by the sea, the service was amazing and the staff were very friendly. The good we absolutely amazing and very clearly fresh and homemade - the smoothie was so refreshing and is now my personal favourite menu item. We will absolutely be returning for another amazing experience
Wow, what a hidden gem. When i pulled into a leisure center, I almost drove off! Had a great gluten-free fry. With great care given. Wonderful view. Professional friendly staff. I would highly recommend it.
So glad we came here for breakfast and a coffee. Lovely people. Great view. And a good breakfast too.
I'm on holiday in area and when walking Larne Promenade I discovered this gem of a cafe in the Leisure centre. The views are magnificent, food excellent and wonderful welcoming staff. I'd a delicious prawn salad which was very reasonable price. Very comprehensive menu indeed.
Wonderful food, service and view
