visited yesterday with My Mum for l unch. We both had jacket potatoes and they were large. My Mum had cheese with hers and I had sweet chili chicken. My Mum is hard to please and she said it was the best jacket potato she has ever had. the sweet chili chicken was gorgeous and it is also served with a side salad. We had drinks too and the waitress asked us if we wanted them with our meal or before, these were brought quickly. Service was good, food was lovely, good price, lovely view of the sea. Lovely will be visiting again when Im next in the area.

I’ve just had a lovely breakfast here again and can see why people keep coming back. The Green Shutters has great food, friendly staff and a view to die for. They also serve the best coffee in town.

Ample parking, fantastic view, great service and food and a socially distant set up in place. Very impressed. I will definitely be back.

I visited Green Shutters on Monday with my wife and granddaughter for lunch. The choice of food was excellent and the childrens menu was perfect for a 6 year old. The quality of the food was perfect and as I had not visited Largs for some time was really pleased to find that this Bistro was still as good as I had always remembered it . Staff were pleasant and helpful. Super place to eat and with a window seat our 6 year old enjoyed watching the ferry coming and going. Stars should have been 5 not 1

Green Shutters does a really tasty Scottish breakfast, served with a good coffee, and all whilst overlooking the beautiful water to Cumbrae. On a sunny day there's a covered and quiet outdoor terrace for several tables. Ample parking and less than a minute from Main Street and the ferry terminal. Easy access from the shoreline footpath and just a few minutes from the kids' playground. I witnessed tables being thoroughly disinfected after each customer. The waiting staff were friendly and helpful. The facilities are a little tired and small but in good order. Well worth a visit.

We called in on Sunday for an excellent cooked breakfast. The staff were very friendly and made sure the table and chairs were freshly sanitised before use. The outside seating was reasonably well sheltered from the wind and it was nice to be able to enjoy our breakfast on a lovely sunny morning.

Very friendly service, and great that it's dog friendly! There are a couple of vegan options on the menu. Had the moo-free burger and chips, which was delicious. The outdoor seating is perfect, sheltered with a great view! Will definitely go back on my next visit to Largs.

Food amazing , fantastic view & friendly helpful staff. The best nachos i've had & the bacon burger was so good. A sensible burger in an amazing bun that is easy to eat & full of flavour. I'm fed up getting burgers that are stacked so high that they disintegrate when you try to eat them. Very reasonable prices & our new go to place in largs.

Was nice. Good coffee. Nice cake. Wee lassie serving us was under pressure due to staff shortages but doesn't excuse being snippy about us not waiting to be seated at a table outside. This aside it was lovely.

Fabulous food and friendly staff. As a family, we have been going to Largs since we were children. Many happy memories with parents here in the photo at the Green Shutters and likewise with my Grandparents many years ago. Outdoor eating area and dog friendly.

We popped in with a friend for coffee expecting to have to sit outside in the cold as we had the dogs with us, but we were told to bring the dogs inside and they were made very wellcome. The dogs got a biscuit and we had excellent friendly service ,lovely coffee and the best hot chocolate I have ever tasted. Would highly recommend.

Nice food and good service, we were a group of 5 and the food was served hot and quickly. We had one slight problem the baked potato we order was not cook fully, but the problem was sort quickly and the staff were very apologetic. Very nice coffee and a lovely view would I recommend this restaurant, yes well worth a visit.

I visited the Green Shutters Bistro twice recently when on a break in Largs. Based right on the water, the views over to The Isle of Cumbrae are spectacular. Its location is perfect, especially for anyone who is walking along the promenade or headed to/from the ferry. Food wise - at breakfast, I had eggs on toast which was more than I could even eat. On a subsequent trip, at lunchtime, I had a big potato with cheddar and salad which was also a good sized portion and tasty. Prices too were very reasonable. One of the things that I liked the best was the music selection. I look forward to returning to the Green Shutters Bistro on my next visit to the seaside.

Really nice young staff, polite and helpful. We were too late for the kitchen but had eaten at lunchtime so just required a snack, we opted for cake which was sadly a little dry, having been out all day.

Outdoor seating as well as ample indoor seating makes this an accessible place to visit in Largs! Dog friendly outdoors. Excellent affordable menu with varied choices to suit all tastes and appetites! Private parking for customers which is a bonus in Largs where parking is at a premium particularly in the summer season!
