Following a recommendation from a local shop worker, my Sister and Myself went to find The Gypsy Cream and found what turned out to be a hidden gem. From walking in we were made very welcome, in what was a very busy cafe. The menu was good also and I chose Welsh Rarebit, and it was served with a well presented side salad and delicious coleslaw.
My sister enjoyed soup and sandwiches, which again were well presented. The coffee came with delicious tablet.
Lunch was very reasonable and as we left the door was opened for us and we were wished a good day, by the very attentive staff.
I would definitely recommend “The Gypsy Cream” to relatives and friends who visit Largs.
I had a delicious Gluten Free meal here today and my husband had fantastic muggle (non coeliac) meal. I can't praise them enough.
Had lunch there yesterday and it was fantastic. Great home made soup, lovely fresh sandwich and one of the best strawberry tarts I've tasted. Would highly recommend. Oh and the service was great too.
Family all had lunch at the Gypsy Cream today-food and staff were excellent I would highly recommend a visit. There soup and home baking were superb.

Had lunch here with my daughter and it was busy during the lunch hour . Lovely canvas photos of our local area and noticed they were for sale! Makes a lovely gift. The food was yummy and the peppermint tea was delicious. My daughter had the BLT and I had the soup of the day with side salad. The waitress was attentive and very polite. The atmosphere felt fresh and like part if the community. Well done Gypsy Cream👏 😍
Excellent. We went there three days in a row because the soups and sandwiches are just delicious. Everyone there is really nice, and the prices are also great. Highly recommend.
Amazing little café. The bar has certainly been raised with this gem of a place. Not only are the staff extremely courteous and friendly but the food is lovely, we had the soup and the sandwich deal and it wasn't expensive at all. Highly recommended.
5 stars at least.
Fabulous food and they’re dog friendly as well. I had Welsh Rarebit with best salad ever. Fresh leaves with the usuals but also feta, orange, blueberries and strawberries - very innovative.
I had coffee and cake here and fully recommend it. Great choices of food and cakes. Friendly staff.
Great home made soup, good food. Service was excellent
One of the most delicious soups I have had. Sweet potato, coconut and chilli. Very warming on a wet cold day! Sandwiches also looked lovely
Great little find, looking for independent coffee shop & found the Gypsy Cream Cafe. Friendly, cheerful staff & prompt service. Great coffee, & food
A very pleasant establishment. They close at four, we got in around 15:15 and ordered some hot food, just in time really. Staff was friendly and helpful, can accommodate disability scooter but it is a tight squeeze. Worth another visit. A hidden away little place, usually found in the late afternoon if you don't know Largs.
Soup is amazing, it like the best home made soup your mum would make. The cafe is casual and down to earth.
What a great place to go eat! It's clean, bright and the staff are lovely. The food is really tasty and the menu is varied enough to cater for everyone. Prices are just right too. Will definitely go back and i recommend everyone to go try it. You won't be disappointed.
This place serves the most amazing soups I have ever tasted if you are ever in the area give them a try you will not regret it
Delicious food good service very clean.
Superb Welsh rarebit with delicious interesting salad. Friendly service. Very good coffee. Attractive ambience. Highly recommend.
Popped in for lunch. Dog friendly. The homemade soups were delicious, hot and nourishing. The cakes were all homemade. Service excellent and reasonably priced. Would not hesitate to recommend and will certainly visit again.
We came across the Gypsy Cream after reading its positive reviews. We were not disappointed. On entering there is a station for hand sanitizing and providing contact details. All tables were separated by dividers and were thoroughly cleaned between each use. Staff were wearing face masks. The whole place was very clean looking including the toilet facilities. We both ordered food which was fantastic. A panini for me and soup and a sandwich for my partner. The food seemed high quality and the servings were generous. Would recommend.
First time there definitely will go back the food was 1st class an so was the staff
