I popped in on my break. Had some lovely coffee and salt and chilli chicken to take away. Was on a Friday around 6pm and the pub was buzzing. The chicken was lovely and really good value for money. I’ve just found a hidden gem.

Wow, what a brilliant pub. Not only is there great food and ale for visitors, but a great village centre too. Brilliant use of space and really nice staff. Food- good menu, good flavours Atmosphere - proper old pub, but also clean, homely, comfortable. Service- happy staff, looked after us Shop-what a great idea to have a small village shop in the pub to. Love it, as Arnie said “I’ll be back” Update. Returned three times, still a great pub with great beer And now to make you smile....or groan Whats it called when a king and queen have no children? A receding heir line

A gorgeous old fashioned pub. Lots of cute spaces to sit and plenty of seating in the lovely beer garden in the back. Food is delicious, we all had pizza- mine was the vegan bbq jackfruit which was so good. Well worth a visit.

This is a nice village pub, it has small rooms. During the day its used as a local shop. The bar has a great atmosphere with a good selection of beers. The food is nice pub grub, nothing fancy. The staff are very friendly and helpful

Visited several times while on holiday and absolutely loved this pub. There is a great mix of a healthy crowd of loyal local visitors and those who are visiting from further afield. This is a perfectly placed refreshment stop along The Priest's Way as the food is a delight- we stopped for a drink but ended up having an awesome Sunday roast dinner. The kitchen is in a delightfully rustic shack in the garden, but don't be fooled by the appearance- the quality shows the chefs enjoy and are good at what they create. There is also a useful shop which stocks plenty of essentials for the locals as well as for tourists. We will definitely return.

We are so lucky to have this pub in our village for us residents and the visitors. You feel really welcome and staff are lovely. The menu is outstanding, tasty, great choices and good value. A wide range of alcoholic choices and one of the only ones to offer non alcoholic cider for us drivers. A hidden gem is Trevor's deli and it's local and home cooked delights too.

A late review. We visited end of July during summer holidays of 2021. We camped nearby and this was the only pub in the area. By gosh, we were not settling at all. The food, best burgers I've had in a long long time. Huge serving we couldn't finish it so we packed the remainder. Couldn't waste it! We sat in the front room with a fire place. Such a lovely space. It was raining, otherwise we'd have loved the outdoor space. I highly recommend eating there if you're nearby or passing. Seems to be rather popular(unsurprisingly). Our teenage son even said the burger was in his top 3 best burgers ever. As you can imagine, teens are usually very economical in giving praise, so it must be good right. Our daughter decided on a kids portion of fish fingers but they were also pretty big. The portion of chips was nearly the same for adults. Not unhappy about it at all, we just packed the extra as well. Oh, we also got extra onion rings, not disappointed, huge rings of juicy sweet onions in a crispy light batter, we were fightin for the last one. 4 double thumbs up!

So glad we found this place! The food was amazing, we have added some more pictures because the current photos just didnt do it justice. The small bites / tapas style plates were such good quality and excellent value, good portions. And the staff were super friendly and the atmosphere is lovely. Sat in the big garden and had great service all round :)

I was in the area for a couple of days. So myself and a couple of friends popped in for a bite to eat and a few pints, we was pleasantly surprised at the food and drink they were serving. There was a great atmosphere and the staff were super helpful, I will definitely be returning if in the area!

Stopped by this evening looking for a quick bite - what a gem of a pub! Great menu, we had the Dirty Fries which were so good. Lovely atmosphere, friendly, quirky, loved the cocktail bar in the garden - can’t wait to go back!

About three rooms in the pub. The beer garden with it's own bar and kitchen is a nice surprise. Good selection of beers as well. There's a outside pizza oven in the garden as well. Nice cosy pub with friendly bar staff and a good selection of beers and usual selection of spirits. They do serve food but haven't eaten there.

We stayed down the road on holiday for a week, called for drinks mainly although food was good, menu basic, always a great vibe. Would definitely recommend and return next time in Langton.
