Stayed here for 2 nights. What a great place. The room looked recently refurbished, lovely and clean bathroom, all the amenities I need including bottled water, mini fridge and air conditioning! And of course after a few pints a short walk to the room. Food was great, especially locally sourced brea
We stayed here overnight in our motorhome. No charge as we ate in the pub. Food good and reasonably priced. Staff and locals all friendly and helpful. The car park is more suited to campers and smaller vans. Bit tricky backing the 8.5m van onto the main road to exit.. A nice stopover
Exactly what we needed including air conditioned rooms in 30° heat. The shower was awesome too. Friendly staff and customers alike 😄 Great ice cream. A short-ish drive to Glastonbury Abbey House for the event. We enjoyed our stay and bimble round the village, blackberrying, visiting the park and

Fantastic hotel. Was there with a Liberal Democrat colleague to help out in the Somerton and Frome by-election. The rooms were fantastic, breakfast was awesome and the staff were lovely. No complaints from me.
Beautiful meal, well presented, hot and prompt waitress service. Very polite and friendly staff
Friendly staff and relaxed environment had a nice evening meal with local meat that was amazing worth a try if you need some food and drink, rear decor a bit dated.
Fab. Landlady is pillar of community and succeeds in wrangling local eccentrics, but do keep an eye on them 😋 Interesting visitors pass thru & stay at the accommodations which are quality & perfectly quiet. Ring for a quick chat if you need to ensure peace or find out about accessibility etc. Foo

We had a meal, was lovely but plates are cold. Husband doesn't like hot food on a cold plate!
Nice English pub to end a lovely dog walk . Wife said best coffee she's had for along time . And landlady gave Rudy the Lab a biscuit 👍👍
We phoned ahead to stay the night and the owners kindly kept a space for us in the busy carpark. We had a good, freshly cooked, tasty evening meal in the lively bar, with a few drinks of the locally brewed cider (careful if you are not used to it!) Our hosts were very kind and hospitable and the sta
Lovely pub, great service, food was great, perfect for my stop off on my motorbike
Had lunch, my wife said the curry was very tasty. I had the ribeye which was tender and succulent. Good friendly service. Will go again
My second visit here and they have got things just right. Great pub grub, well priced, the staff are lovely and the pub is a nice place to be. A rare 5 stars from me, it's not gourmet but it's exactly what you want from a country pub and done well. Nice selection of local beers and ciders, plus a
Was here for a group meeting. Good skittle alley/function room, a good sized dining area with in-house catering and of course a good sized bar serving a selection of wines, spirits, lager, cider and real ales. A rambling old inn with a warm welcome.
