We had a fabulous Sunday Lunch. All the food was fantastic (although our 2 “older” family members would prefer the cabbage cooked a bit longer!!!) My step Dad said the Sticky toffee pudding was the best he’d ever had!
Right From the welcome at the door, Service was brilliant; it was so nice to have staff who were not moody teenagers!! Hugo/Rob was hilarious- we had great banter and fun with him and the rest of the staff joined in with our silliness! Beer and wine was enjoyed and Henry’s Cheery Bakewell cocktail went down a treat with my daughter! We will be back!!!

They allow camper vans and motorhomes to park for the night if you eat at the pub. This is our second visit and we'll be back for a third!
We went for a family celebration and we all agreed that the evening really couldn’t have been better. There were nine of us including two small children, we were made to feel very welcome and comfortable. Many thanks Lime Kiln, we’ll be back.
Lovely pub with various areas to sit in . The outside is lovely but a bit warm under the plastic roof, the views to the hills are ample compensation. We went for the restaurant area where the seats are more comfortable and you can still just about get the views!
Food was well prepared and presented. Service although slow at times was friendly and polite. The food tasted very good and was a good portion. The koffmann fries were very good. Overall pricing gives you a high degree of expectation, which they haven't quite achieved yet.
From a warm welcome on arrival to outstanding, friendly service, the Lime Kiln is a great pub. The quality of the service from Alastair, Rachel and Dan was flawless and the food continues to be excellent - in particular the fish cakes!
An inn that punches above its weight!
Haven't visited for years as part of our normal stop off to taunton but this place is soo lovely. The pub itself is classic and charming, we were at the end of lunch service but the team slwere great will making our lunch great. Pie of the day was awesome (gammon, pea & cider) yum!

Very welcoming and pleasant atmosphere, friendly service and excellent food. One of the nicest pub meals we've had in a long time and one of the best burgers I've had since I can't remember when. Everything was well cooked, well seasoned and delicious.
We enjoyed a very warm welcome and ate in the bar which had a good buzzy atmosphere. It was good to see people drinking at the bar as well as eating. We were served promptly and enjoyed the food which is imaginative, well cooked and very tasty. The staff are particularly friendly and helpful and the beer is always tasty and well kept. We’ll certainly be back.

Thank you to the small team who gave us a lovely fresh meal of seasonal ingredients, beautifully prepared and colourfully presented. Always like that several of your menu options have 2 portion sizes.
The 3 Biscoff mini doughnuts are a perfect way to round off the meal while enjoying a coffee!

Well worth a visit .
As Vegans, my partner and I are often disappointed whilst eating out.
The Lime Kiln inn was a total contrast, nothing was to much trouble, very comfortable seating area, friendly staff and the Vegan meals we both had were exemplary.
All our food was delicious and a flavour explosion with each mouthful.
The attention to detail was exquisite and all our dishes were art on a plate.
I cannot recommend highly enough and will definitely be returning
Great place for an informal meal, staff are always pleasant and the menu is varied, no pies on our visit, which was a shame as they are lovely, but the fish and chips is great too. many guests have their burgers which look good.
