Lovely venue, couldn't fault it really. The food was delicious. The menu provided a variety of options but was small enough for you to know everything was freshly cooked: - the burger was huge and tasty - the mussels were fantastic with a sauce to die for - a broad selection of wine and beer options The staff were great and loved our dog. It's dog friendly!

Luckily for us, we couldn't get a reservation in Holt! Good Sunday menu. We skipped starters and went for roast beef, which was delicious and tender, served with 'greens' and an individual cauliflower cheese. The service was good and friendly. We'll be back!

Delicious roast and a great spot for an afternoon beer. Spacious sunny garden with a nice play-frame for the kids. Inside looks lovely too - if you can pull yourself away from the garden! Will definitely be back.

My wife and I had a delicious Sunday roast, for me, and starter with veggies, for herself. Jaz and Daisy were lovely host and server. Excellent food, a lovely atmosphere which got even better as the place filled. A good concise menu (too much choice is bad, in my book) a short wine list (again, good) with, we found, excellent service. If you’re in the vicinity, do yourselves a favour and book a table. You’ll not be disappointed. 😁

Lovely meal. Small interesting fresh menu. Well cooked. Reasonable prices. Good ales. Recommend a visit and would 100% book again when in the area.

Truly delicious meal. Between us we had the pumpkin risotto, stone bass catch of the day and mussels all of which were cooked to perfection. Excellent service- didn’t have to wait too long. Slightly on the expensive side but we didn’t mind as the quality of the food justified the cost.

The food being served here is simply incredible. For a long time, my favourite and most memorable experience of eating Fish&Chips was at a fish and chip shop in Aldeburgh, Suffolk. In my opinion they are the best in the entire UK...but the Langham Blue Bell has managed to knock that title from the top-spot. It really is that good! Fish and chips aside, they're serving some seriously good food here. Chef clearly knows exactly what he's doing with flavour combinations, local produce and presentation. It's a pub...but not as you know it.

Bit mixed review, lovely pub in rural village, we ate evening meal, menu a bit restricted for choice, wife does not eat meat so oppted for catch of day it was Salmon. Salmon for catch of the day? Not sure from the North sea and why cooked in cordon bleu style? Country village pub i would have liked it to reflect village style, not too fancy etc. I thought overall too pricy especially, bottles of wine. Bench seat most uncomfortable ever sat on, pub lounge lovely and cosy and I hope for better next year.

We popped in for dinner on a Saturday night without a booking. Because we didn’t have a booking we were told it might be a wait for food… it wasn’t. Our food arrived 10-15mins after ordering and is some of the best pub grub I’ve had. We split the chicken schnitzel and burger. Absolutely loved their take on schnitzel and almost wish we hadn’t split it! Definitely worth a meal if you’re nearby

Ate here twice while staying locally...very impressed. Sunday lunch was the best we'd had in some time. Mid week didn't disappoint either. I'd say a foody destination.
