Fine dining done right. 12 of us were in the study for a special occasion. Staff were attentive even tending to the fire on the other side of the room. Only criticism is the staff often chat outside the study room which can get noisy when trying to enjoy a nice dinner
Excellent food and service, quirky decor, warm and homely, perfect. Soufflé starter is to die for, interesting choice of desserts. Very reasonably priced for what you get.

Wow! Such a lovely lunch from the a la carte menu. Excellent, personable service in a relaxing environment. Six of us dined in style. It was so good that we spent 3 hours here in January 2023, enjoying every minute.

Arguably one of the best 'family' meals we have ever had... Impeccable service, incredible food, outstanding attention to detail, the whole experience was 'world class'. We even got to play croquet on the lawns after lunch, I cannot recommend this venue enough.
