We had a fantastic meal here today,
The restaurant has a relaxed casual feel but classy at the same time.
The food was beautifully cooked and most dishes well presented,
visually my sons meal ( pasta and meatballs ) looked to be dry but he loved it and scoffed the lot.
There is a nice choice on the kids menu at a good price too.
Our waitress Floriane was outstanding, very friendly, polite and hard working, she explained the dishes very well and catered for our children by bringing certain items on a separate plate for us to add in case they didn’t like it.
Overall we really enjoyed our visit and will definitely be coming back.

Wow what a super place to meet & eat! First time in a Miller & Carter Restaurant Bar, it was totally not what I was expecting (a pub turned restaurant). I was there to meet some friends for Sunday Lunch & I was driving (large car park) & was pleasantly surprised with the range of low & 0% beers available. One of our party asked for a cocktail, the Barman didn't miss a step he wasn't there just to pull points & really know what he was about.
The food was fabulous, definitely go for the Steak really cooked as you like it. The service from the bar through to the restaurant was faultlessly professional with a real friendly tone.
Am definitely going again even if I have go on my own which I would not normally consider, go treat yourself.

I've been back now a couple of times now, once on my lonesome & once with my partner. Both meals were really really good. It's never that great eating alone but when the food is this good & served as well as it is I had no problems enjoying the meal. When I went with my partner who isn't as much of a meat lover as I am, she had Salmon which she rated very highly & I earned major brownie points in finding such a good place to eat.
My partner has Coeliacs & is always concerned about her allergies when eating out. We were looked after by Floriane at our table who was just wonderful & very aware of allergies. 👍👍👍👍
The Food - we all order different things, and it was well presented and tasted lovely. Decent portion and wait time wasn't long.
The Drinks - Downloaded the app and got free drinks from signing up but must have a main meal.
The service - Service was amazing staff was helpful.
The Restaurant - Lovely building inside and out. The booth type seat we had was slightly uncomfortable as it was very tight even for 5 of us. Nowhere to put jackets/coats. Would much have preferred chairs in the future.
Overall lovely dining. Price range depending on what you have.
A good meal and enjoyable, especially the atmosphere. A few problems, my steak should have been medium rare but came out rare, and my daughters fillet should have been medium but was almost well done. Onion roll was explosive it was so crisp, but tastes good.. We were given a free desert without asking because of the faults, so no real complaints as food was good.
Always excellent services from this restaurant. Decent steaks and choices. Didn't like the Aubergine Bao bun.

We came to Miller and Carter to celebrate a birthday lunch. It tasted amazing and our server Lily was an absolute star⭐️ she was smiley, asking us how we are doing and just providing a fantastic service!
Absolutely delicious dinner. Nicest chicken I've ever eaten. Great, fancy style dessert. Excellent cocktails.

Excellent steaks cooked exactly as I wanted. The gigantic cake dessert was exactly as described. Staff were all friendly to interact with and very helpful.

We eat out a lot and in general try to avoid chain restaurants at all costs however we had been recommended this one and were pleasantly surprised. Decor was warm, cosy, and inviting, and tables are not too close together to allow some privacy. We had the chateaubriand which was cooked to perfection at medium rare and tender as you’d expect. Sides were satisfactory but could have done with some more seasoning especially the mash potato. Don’t normally do google reviews but our lovely waitress Jemma needs a mention - attentive, efficient and professional, she’s an asset to the business! Wouldn’t hesitate to go back again!
Lovely evening spent with good friends which was made better by perfect service provided by our waitress Melissa, she told us she had only been doing the job for a few weeks!! Obviously a very fast learner and couldn’t do enough for us despite the place being rammed. Thank you for a lovely evening and compliments to the chef too!! Steaks cooked to perfection!!
Great atmosphere for dinner and a really nice restaurant. Our server was Melissa and she was really friendly and attentive. The food was very nice. Have dropped a star because there were items missing from the menu. There are some options for vegans. Will go back.

We had a lovely dinner and the experience was made easy and simple with our waitress Caitlin. We had a slight issue with a steak being too rare but she was so lovely and incredibly helpful. I come from a cheffing background so tend to cook steaks myself, have to say, my GF brought me here and I was blown away, they know their stuff and this is very good value for money, great spread of different dishes the butcher's block was awesome a real sight to behold.
Great for lunch, they do a superb 2 or 3 course set lunch, or a La carte. I had mushrooms with cheese to start, fillets tails steak sandwich for main and salted caramel profiteroles for dessert. It was excellent, also do try the non alcoholic cocktails, so refreshing and a pleasant change. Staff are very friendly and the restaurant is clean. There is ample parking outside, you do have to enter your registration number at reception, which is easy to do.
First time here, and my god what a delicious meal!
I had the salt and pepper calamari for starter and the 20oz T bone with chips and beef dripping as the main and the salad with honey mustard (very vinegary)
But over all am amazing meal I till indeed recommend this place to all who like meat!
Treated ourselves to the chefs block and all I can say is wow! Caren our server was absolutely amazing and so helpful guiding us through the different cuts and we went on her recommendations on how to have it cooked...spot on for us! Thank you
