Food is really tasty we got chicken saganaki and a gyros wrap, both were really good. For desert I got Kataifi it was my first time trying it and I was impressed. The restaurant is cash only which we didn’t realise until we got there but there’s a cash point really close.
Absolutely beautiful meal with my hubby. I had moussaka. Hubby has chicken shawarma wrap with chips and a plate of gyros, which was by far the nicest out of the 3 dishes! We also brought home some orange cake for dessert.... amazing service and outstanding food!!
Superb Greek food. My wife is Greek, we spend a lot of time in Greece, her mother is a chef in a Greek kitchen just outside of Athens and we have taken her there when she has visited the UK… And she loves it! If that’s not a good sign then nothing will be :)
We decided last minute to check out this place and I'm glad we did. We were welcomed in by friendly staff and then had our taste buds taken away to holidays. The tzatziki tasted like I was in Greece, the retsina was refreshing and everyone in our party loved their main meals.

Had an amazing take out meal here, Gyros plate as my main and a hummus starter with flatbread, was absolutely delicious and just what was needed on a Saturday afternoon after a day enjoying the sunshine
Whenever I'm in the northeast I make sure I pop in. It's simply the best Greek food I've had anywhere other than in Greece.
Service is great, food is absolutely exquisite and thoughtfully presented. It's also very reasonably priced so is well worth a visit. I heartily recommend the Gyros and Souvlak
Birthday meal was delicious served by wonderful staff,been a couple of times can't fault them.
Great authentic style Greek restaurant. Great value for money, and has a classic taverns vibe, not flashy just good. If you want wine, you must bring your own.
Love Yannis. We've been eating here on a regular basis since we moved to Lanchester five years ago and even though it has changed ownership in the time, the food has remained excellent. Can't recommend enough (although some Greek wine wouldn't go amiss on the menu...).
Food is great. Its a little small and cramped but still has a great atmosphere, drinks are a little pricey. Been a few times and will be back. Would love to order something other than the mix grill but why would I?
Hand on heart some of the best Greek food I’ve had. Delicious! Never thought in County Durham I’d be eating good Greek food but there you go. Also had a great bottle of wine to go with it - would 100% go back.
