Pretty standard for a fast food chain. Not somewhere to go if you're looking for upmarket quality food/service but perfectly adequate for what you'd expect from a fast food chain. Cleaned regularly, food brought to you if it's overly busy, staff work hard but seem pretty down-trodden and not overly cheerful but not surprising really.
First things first, the site is beautiful and the food is good.
However, I've used the drive through over the past few weeks and they always leave items out of the order. This usually means I'm halfway down the street and I have to turn around.
They're always quick to correct their mistake but it's still unprofessional and irritating. I know that some people wouldn't turn around, I wonder how much food is wasted this way?
Use the app to make my order but been twice and parked in a bay to have it brought out to me and twice they've forgotten about me! Each time walking in half an hour later for them to go "Whoops! best idea would be to use the drive through if you're making your order on the app.
Usual food quality and warmth. We took 2 of our grandchildren after pick up from nursery, they love it. Only 1 problem. I have poor mobility and the downstairs area was full. Apparently the lift has been out of action for 3 years so I had to use the stairs, not good.
Ordered a double big Mac with bacon as a large meal. Fries were almost all in the bottom of the bag, and I had to reassemble the big Mac as this was chucked in. Food was hot and tasted good, just let down by the lack of care when it was put in the bag
Ordered a customised wrap and a customised burger. Waited quite a while but thought this was to be expected really. Wrong wrap initially supplied but when I went to the counter about it the staff were really helpful and sorted it very quickly.
It was very busy when I called in to this McDonald's, but it the wait for food was not too long and it was standard quality. The facilities were mostly very clean. Overall a good stop off on the way north up the M6.
Really helpful staff when I pointed out there was a leak from the toilets and we had to move as we could smell urine from where we were sitting. In general much tidier than my local Mcdonalds and also gas plenty of space.
Good stop off when heading North on the M6. Clean, tidy, usual food. Not motorway prices. Car park a little small but overall can't complain so recommended.
Very nice new Mcdonald s, one comment would be stairs were very slippy. But had been cleaned and signs put out.
Brilliant atmosphere, but I don't like mc'ds due to the human meat scandal in the USA. If it happens, there it happens here, also unhealthy. But I will say my mates crispy chicken look peng-ting.
