The Deli has been recently renovated and has a industrial, modern feel. Numerous plants have been placed around the café,which relaxes the atmosphere a little. The music is modern, which reminds me of fashion show music, though the volume could be a bit quieter, as one has to speak up a little for hear a conversation. The shop is quite busy, filled with lots of costumers, but the service is fast enough to compensate.
The new menu is quite fresh and innovative, with double chocolate and raspberry croissants, as well as a variety of salads.
The menu is on the pricy side, with most items around £3-£8, so it acts as a good place for lunch, but might not be as budget friendly for students who want a regular place for lunch. The menu, in my opinion, is on the limited side, though still contains enough variety. A greater range of salads would be appreciated, but the ingredients seemed to be good quality to make up for it. Still overlooking the south spine, it's a good place to stop off if you have something immediately before or after.
A variety of coffee blends are available for those who are into coffee. Like before, lots of vegan and organic options are available.
Overall, I think it's a good place to try out, especially if you're vegetarian or vegan, but maybe not somewhere to stay and work for long periods of time.
Came here with my sister when I picked her up from Uni, Friday just gone 21/10/22. My Americano was lovely and hot, my Sister's tea was perfect and the milk was served in a quaint old style small glass mill bottle. Deffo my go to coffee shop whenever it is my turn to run my Sister to and from Lancaster Uni!

Good coffee. Try the breakfast menu.
They no longer do my favourite breakfast egg pots but what they do sell is usually very tasty. It can be very busy and the food portions and timing can vary quite a lot but it is a nice place to meet a friend.
Lovely little Deli in the heart of Lancaster University- tuna and egg flatbread was delish.....
Always busy, the deli is a lovely little spot on Lancaster Unis campus.
Really good range of menu options for breakfast and all day eating.
Staff are super friendly and the prices are very reasonable.
Only downside is the halloumi was somewhat anaemic

Amazing food! For a low price you can enjoy a lovely meal. The waitress is lovely and kind.

Fantastic place to eat, great tasting food at an amazing price. The staff here are great, Sam was very patient with us super friendly as well! Shall be back!
Great coffee, lovely friendly staff and tasty breakfast. American pancakes with bacon was heavenly.
