Being dairy free, I always struggle to find nice sweet treats when I go out for coffee. Today I discovered the most gorgeous vegan cake I've ever tasted! Made a nice change for me to be enjoying delicious cake with everyone else. I highly recommend this place!
I always go here when I fancy a friendly yummy brew in town. Their coffee is amazing and their cakes well .. me and my friends have a nickname for their scrumptiousness we call them sx cakes yes they are THAT good �I was in yesterday with my little ones and my son Odin said it was the nicest hot chocolate he'd ever had and managed to persuade me to get him another one!! So if you're looking for lovely surroundings , friendly staff and a place endorsed by a Norse god I strongly recommend you come here �

Had an amazing almond milk latte and cherry vegan chocolate which was so delicious! Lovely lovely staff too. Definitely recommend! X
Esquires is like a second home and makes the best cup of coffee in Lancaster. A lovely and welcoming environment and the staff are fantastic. Always willing to go above and beyond for the customers.

Went in for coffee with my friend. Staff were all lovely and service was great. My friend is a Vegan and we were both impressed at the range of Vegan options there as well. Great stuff folks! Highly recommend.

Lovely cafe with a broad selection of vegan and non-vegan options as well as a large array of coffees, tea and cold drinks. The atmosphere is a very relaxed one with ample seating both indoors and out. The staff are incredibly polite and are more than happy to cater to individual needs. Would highly recommend this place if you as needing a quiet place in the normally busy life of Lancaster City Centre.
My family were on holiday in the area and spent an afternoon in Lancaster. We popped in for a snack and coffee while shopping and visiting the Castle.
The staff were very helpful and friendly.
The food was good with a decent coffee all at a fair cost in a pleasent atmosphere and surroundings.
Worth a try.

Great place to get a coffee or tea. They serve some food here too which is quite tasty. Only downside is sometimes the tables can get left quite dirty so you have to move some dishes around, but only had to do that a few times. Overall a great place to pop into if you're in town and in the mood for a quick coffee.
Lovely coffee shop, and their too good to go bags are amazing value. Their newly added milkshakes are a winner too. Lancaster has alot of great local independent coffee shops and this is one of them!
It was great to wander into this friendly place and order a vegan breakfast with americano included. My son had the same but for swapping the coffee for a cold drink. It was good to have space to move around and easily find a table, without feeling hemmed into a narrow serving area like in some cafés. The food was prompt, hot and tasty, with quite nice coffee too. All the food was cooked properly with nothing overcooked. The whole area, including loos, was clean and tidy. Completely satisfied and it justifies five stars!

Had a lovely and great time while doing some business in town. Brilliant coffee with fresh and delicious selection of food and deserts. I highly recommended that beautiful place to everyone who admires a nice cuppa.
Nice cafe. Lovey coffee. And good seating area outside. I'd say the only downside is is that there's only 1 toilet and that's for both male and female so sometimes you have to wait for the loo.😁
contemporary version of Costa. We went in at 4:30 and they were packing everything away, making it feel a little like we were being rushed out the door... but service was good and drinks were ok. No better or worse than Costa or Starbucks.
Excellent coffee, friendly staff, very relaxed and comfortable arrangement, clean, good menu. A very pleasant find whilst walking round town looking for a coffee shop.
