An excellent pub to watch some sport if that is what you are after. The Crafty Scholar has a nice relaxed and easy-going feel about it right from the moment you enter the place and as you move around. There are a good number of TVs of different sizes and the staff are always keen to make you feel co
A great pub. I was expecting it to be full of young people and was delighted to see the customers were a real mix of ages. The mood of the place was really lovely. I had lots of great chats with complete strangers.
Large student bar in the centre. Good food and drink promotions. WYSIWYG
Second time in with my daughter for food and a drink. Quiet inside both times but the service has been very pleasant and the staff welcoming. Food was lovely also and came out nice and quick too. Was my daughters choice to come back again as she enjoys the wings so I have no doubt we'll be back agai
This was a fantastic pub to go for a drink at, having decorations that truly create a modern vibe! The purple lit area of the wall adds to this vibe and it was easy to find a table, where me and my friend sat for a two for one cocktail. It tasted amazing with the blend of flavours and cleanliness wa
Staff were polite, smiling, and helpful. The food was nice and tasty. The place was nice and lively as it was match day but not too busy so you couldn't watch the match. Again, we like this place as the staff make it a place to want to visit for a drink and a meal at good prices. Thanks guys and gir
It’s the place to be if you love your pizza and nachos. Absolutely loved the Nachos shares which had fresh nachos topped off with guacamole, salsa, Jalapeños and cheese sauce and the freshly baked margherita pizza was an absolute delight! The ambience is all heart!
Down for a holiday, had a wonderful lunch today with freinds, served by a lovely young lady named Anna. Will definitely return next time we visit.
Normally the food is great but today was not said there was a wait of half a hour that's fine even tho hardly anyone in. When the food came we had about 10 chips which wasn't hot. Normally have someone ask if our food was ok but had nothing from staff this time and we had go due to ticket on car so
We were made to feel really welcome there, Ellen and Rachel were both lovely, smiles on their faces and friendly demeanours. The inside was decked out with loads of union jacks which made watching the coronation a nice place to be. We decided to stay for food which was tasty. Thanks to both the girl
I love the atmosphere at this place. The service is wonderful. Our server Rachel is always happy and smiling. It's a pleasure visiting this place.
