Went for a date with my partner on a Saturday evening. We booked the Cornerhouse because we thought it looked really good and we were not disappointed. The food was so tasty, especially the carbonara, and at such a reasonable price! The standout, however, was the impeccable service from our waitress, Jasmine. Will definitely be back!

Lovely birthday meal, had the fillet steak, great price on the happy hour menu. Fab service and food quality, cocktails 2-4-1 were fab. Kids enjoyed their carbonaras, definitely visit again and recommend

Lots of menu choices and good value for money. My beef dinner was lovely. Mum said her chicken was over cooked and tough but she enjoyed the rest of it. We had to ask 3 times for extra gravy for our food so we had nearly finished by the time it arrived. My daughters both had pizza and salt and pepper chips and they said it was lovely. We went for Mothers Day meal which was very noisy and had lots of children running about in the other room with the seating booths. We enjoyed lots of cocktails on the happy hour menu which were great. I would recommend a stronger hand dryer in the ladies toilet or another way to dry your hands as the one there is pathetic and doesn't dry your hands.

I would like to apologise. I posted a review for the wrong venue (I was thinking of The Crafty Scholar), but we did go here on the same day! Good cocktail deals, and nice lighting! Service was relatively quick.

My experience of The Cornerhouse is and always has been an overall 5-stars. If I was to be critical, there's 1 particular waiter who is somewhat curt and forthright, not quite rude, but it wouldn't take much misinterpret it for rudeness. Unfortunately, on this particular occasion, we were one of only 2 or 3 parties in the whole restaurant, so there was very little in the way of atmosphere. Although, it was pleasently air conditioned.

Visited here to celebrate a birthday and we all had the bottomless brunch, the eggs royale I chose were absolutely gorgeous and everyone else enjoyed their full English breakfast. We had drinks orders on arrival and as someone who doesn’t drink alcohol, I opted for an iced coffee. The bottomless brunch consisted of a warm croissant and then the brunch meal that we pick from the menu, along with unlimited drinks for two hours. The price point for non alcoholic brunch is £20 and although the meal was gorgeous it would have been cheaper for me to just purchase the meal and one or two non alcoholic drinks. The iced latte was nice and I tried the other two mocktails which both came presented in a nice glass but seemed to be a flavoured fizzy drink with some fruit and ice, they were both the same colour (clear) and although they were nice it didn’t feel like a true mocktail. If they offered mocktail versions of one or two of the cocktails they offer it would have enriched my experience more. Overall though the food was gorgeous and the staff were incredible absolutely fantastic service and can tell how hard they work, was a great atmosphere and lovely day I’d have just liked a little more value for money with the non alcoholic version of bottomless brunch :)
