Best chippy I've been to in decades. Twice cooked chips, perfectly cooked fish. All served with lemon wedges and they threw in some excellent home made tartare sauce. I'll keep going back whenever I can.
It’s Fish Friday with a terrific piece of haddock and regular chips both freshly fried.
1st time here, new to the area, will be back. Fish & chips excellent, scampi & chips delicious and the free (mix up on order)fish cake, oh wow. All very tasty, ample portions and served by friendly people. 😋

Excellent food, and a full Gluten Free menu which is pretty rare for a fish and chip shop.
Both standard and GF fish and chips were excellent, some of the best I've had in forever!
Gluten free curry sauce was seriously tasty too.
The shop is very clean and modern inside and staff are helpful and friendly, it has a nice atmosphere.
It can be a little difficult to park if you're driving, you just have to find a gap that's close.
Superb chippy! Top quality fish & chips, huge portions and good prices. The owner was very friendly too - he even gave us some extras free of charge as it was my girlfriend's first ever fish & chips (she's Mexican) - all delicious, we will definitely be back next time!!

Amazing chip shop, the food has always tasted fantastic, the portion sizes are plentiful and the curry sauce is amazing. Friendly staff, good prices and they do discount for NHS staff. Would definitely recommend.

Chose here due to previous reviews and was not disappointed. Everything cooked fresh and the large fish was HUGE. Service was quick and friendly and would say prices are on a par with other chippies. Would definitely recommend. Only criticism would be that the peas were bland and needed a lot more seasoning.
A perfect haddock, chips & mushy peas, and a perfect small haddock and mushy peas, delicious and fresh.
Came with lemon wedges too.

Lovely fish and chip shop on aldcliffe road. Open between 11:30 - 14:00 and 16:30 - 20:00. They have won many awards including top 10 newcomer in the national fish and chip awards 2017. NFFF fish and chip quality award. This fish and chip shop also has a license to sell alcohol. So you can buy great bottles of wine to go with your food. The food may be slightly more expensive than other fish and chip shops in the town, but the quality of the food is superb.
They also sell non traditional food like calamari, Thai fishcake, pizza chips, port of lancaster gourmet sausage. Steamed haddock in lemon and herb marinade, fish finger sandwich as well as gluten free options
Can't rate Quays high enough. Fully gluten free fish and chips is always a treat for my 2 Coeliac children. Its freshly fried and never disappoints. Simply superb.

What a great find! Fresh and delicious fish & chips at a really decent price. Amazing selection of gluten-free options, including battered cod and haddock, battered sausage and all the chips are gluten-free (and even GF vinegar). Such polite service! Highly recommend!
