The Gregson is a lovely place to go to always welcoming and the open fire makes it even better. I go in on my own and with other people and feel comfortable doing so, it's a great place to be. :)

Such a lovely cafe - bar - community hub - art centre. We popped in for a beer and a soft drink and the setting and staff are lovely. There is lots of art on the wall for sale and the selection of cakes on offer were going down a storm with the rest of the visitors at the centre.

Popped into The Gregson for a cup of tea and a snack with my son. Lovely space for the community, including for kids. The tea and millionaire's shortbread wer delicious and only a fiver for each person. There were other cakes, crisps and nuts. There was also a bar. The staff were friendly and kind. Probably be back soon.

The events they do are super great and they facilitate community activities well, however, as a non-drinker I wish they would teach their volunteers how to make coffee. I also wish they would label their baked goods accurately. Nice staff and a good pub I'm sure, but it's not a café yet. I would rather just donate to them for the good work they do than risk the coffee/snacks.

This must be the beast deal in town. A hand crafted coffee plus a home baked cake all for just £5.00. Absolute bargain - not forgetting the ambience of the place. It’s a privilege to have somewhere so close to home 👍🏻

Always a cracking time at the Gregson, and perhaps my top place in Lancaster for a beer. Extremely friendly, lovely community atmosphere, clean and tidy, and always a good buzz with events on. Top spot.

Ukraine support hub 🇺🇦 I was there in a work capacity today but what I saw was a really great place. Emphasis on local culture and community which is fantastic. Atmosphere is extremely friendly. Easy 5 stars

The drinks price is low but it was quiet downstairs even on a Saturday night. Some good rooms upstairs you can hire but they need to sort out the fact that toilets need paper!

The Gregson is an amazing community resource rooms to hire, fantastic volunteer staff, great food and a brilliant range of regular and occasional events. Dave the manager couldn’t be more helpful either! I hired the cinema room for my daughter’s birthday party and it was just perfect. Thoroughly recommended 😀

Went to the secret cinema. Absolutely amazing! Staff set it up for you. Good sound system. Nice old fashioned seats. It fits 26 people in. The cost is £40. We got it for 2 hours at that price. As there was 7 of us, it only cost £5 each. You take your own film into watch. There is a bar downstairs for whatever drinks you want. And the do great food. Would definitely recommend you go and try it out. I will definitely go again.

Great community pub with good food and drink at reasonable prices. Lots of events, music and activities happening. Staff are friendly and welcoming. Kids are welcome, there is a small selection of toys available. Outside area for drinking/eating when the weather is nice enough! Overall, an excellent venue.
