A perfect place to stop and shelter from the rain! I had the hazelnut and apricot flapjack and a latte which were both excellent. Noticed they sell beers from among others Farm Yard including a collaboration with Atkinsons themselves who provided the hibiscus flowers - Purple Burglar Alarm. A good excuse to return to sample this Sour beer.

Best coffee in Lancashire. Nice fresh Sandwich's & cake's. Only negative is when you get 1 person with a laptop spread out on a table for 4 and they are there for hours, They should be made to occupy the single tables first, because this place is so popular and we have left before because no spare tables!!

Couldn't recommended highly enough for anyone wanting coffee and cake. We went for a siphon/chemex coffee, latte, almond croissant, and orange and almond cake. One of the best coffees ever had! Sweet treats made it all the better. The "Hall" is Atkinsons main cafe, and on the same castle-side of the street as it's shop. The Music Room is tucked down a side street on the opposite side of the road we didn't go down to.

Quality place for a cup of coffee and a little cake. It’s popularity means it’s a little noisy and there is often a queue. High seats are uncomfortable, no space for legs. All in all, I would come again, they have a great corner spot with a plug socket that’s great to work :p

A regular at all three atkinsons, always been a lovely causal place with great drinks, food and baristas. Today me and my mum came for coffee and matcha, but they got our milks wrong (an easy mistake). They fixed it right away and even gave us a cake on the house!

The best coffee on Lancashire, made and served with care. Bakery on premises turning out delicious cakes too. Lovely staff.

Good atmosphere - varied, but calm music, industrial decor, and smooth coffee. The ambiance of the cafe is definitely its selling point. If you're a student, the price is on the expensive side, but don't let that put you off trying out items at the café :)

Always good food and coffee here, they are known and have won awards for flat whites. Can get quite busy at lunch but there is some extra seating in a room off the corridor which seems to get forgotten about. Their coconut meringue is worth a try

A tad too stuffed on a hot day in the summer. Spacious and cavernous in a good way. Decor has an industrial feel to it. Iced latte wasn't very good though.

I'd never been to The Hall before, but I was immediately charmed by the repurposed industrial charm of the venue. Prices were reasonable, the cakes and drinks were very enjoyable, and it was lovely to see a few patrons bringing their well-behaved dogs in with them.

Unreal coffee, cakes, and sandwiches - perfect at any time of the day - go, then go again - it just gets better and better...

Solid Lancaster coffee house vibes. Wait. What does that mean? It means inoffensively middle-class atmosphere and strong liquid stimulants. It's like acceptable drug use. Sometimes the hall feels like a crèche, but that's ok because aren't all children our collective responsibility? Honestly though, the coffee is great.

Lovely big spacey room and dog friendly too which is brilliant! Very tasty coffee and scone - however it would be good if there were a larger size coffee available as well. Nice friendly place and we felt very comfortable sitting a while after we had finished our coffee, not rushed at all!
