Food was lovely and really well presented, excellent portions as well. Staff were very friendly and welcoming and interior is fresh and cosy.

I find steps at the moment very painful, and part of the corridor was gloomy. So without good hand rails I felt vulnerable. The hand rail from street to door needs replacing. The food was tasty and good value, and waiter/bar man was efficient. The range of memu is similar to other places in Lanark. The surface of the table was scratched and in a very poor state. Why not cover it with a cloth, or paper cloth? It didn't look clean.

Former Wetherspoons pub, which still looks and feels very much the same as a Wetherspoons. Friendly staff, clean surroundings and a reasonable breakfast. The fixtures and fittings are starting to look a little worn, but I was content enough and I'd happily return.. Prices were decent and offered good value.

Went in for a birthday dinner, did not need to book, food was amazing and you could tell was freshly made, venue is recently under new ownership and at the moment lacked personality, however could not fault it at all, staff were great

Visited the Clydesdale on our last day in Scotland and the food and service was fantastic! Had an early dinner and will not need to eat again for the rest of the day!

Great staff and service, new menu is fantastic ( props to David the chef ). The bar is run well by Gemma and her team, with some good beers on tap, although I miss my West St Mungo lager, so I'll keep asking to get it back lol 😉

Had a lovely meal last night. Everything was freshly cooked! The mussels were delicious and the Chicken Balmoral was amazing. Chicken was cooked to absolute perfection. My other half had the triple chicken burger, which was huge and he said that it tasted superb.... not a morsel left on anyones plate....7 people left full and raving about how tasty their meals were. Portions are really generous too. I have to say that the service was great too. Nothing was too much bother for the waiting staff and the owner made sure we were taken care of and stayed to chat with us. Definitely recommend you try the new menu, which has such a great variety. They Also cater for vegan and gluten free which is fab and although slightly smaller still plenty to chose from. Only regret is that i never got any photos! Will definitely be back. Support local

Lovely, helpful staff. Great food. A bit cold but it was mid morning and not busy so that probably didn't help. Will return and would definitely recommend. 😁

We had our first Lanark Men’s Shed social meet here. New owners so obviously a bit of trepidation but please persevere, keep it classy and the food was excellent. Good night had by us and thank you for the fab food 👍🏼
