Took a while to be served, but from then on, service was excellent. They could not have been more attentive. Food was excellent, the best fish and chips I've had for years.
A lot of the complaints about this restaurant online aren’t fair. This is an unassuming fish and chips shop that does its job pretty well - no frills, but I don’t think anyone ever goes to fish and chips for the frills. We had a big group come in and the serving staff were friendly and took care of
The staff are lovely very very helpful nothing a bother to them ..the fish and all there food is excellent .. I live in Glasgow my daughter lives in motherwell but we travel there to valeros because its the best 👌 👍
Lovely clean, friendly cafe. Food was really good, hot & tasty.

Visited Valerio’s on Friday night for a Car Club Fish’n’Chip Night. The staff were really friendly and professional and catered well for such a large group (20). Food was superb, especially the Fish Tea and good value too.
Will certainly return later in the year.

Was there today with my wife and son. Without doubt this was the best fish tea I have tasted in years. Chips were just right. Haddock was really tasty . The batter was perfection. Add a pot of tea and a slice of bread and butter and you have an absolutely brilliant meal. Can't recommend it enough.J
No toilet roll or hand towels requested and didn't refill. Asked for another juice and was forgotten about. Food was great tho!
Lovely food, was a bit disappointed as I didn't get a salad with my order as per description in the menu but the jumbo fish supper was very nice.
Was passing and went in for fish supper. Girls were really friendly and food was good, will definitely be back. They had amazing cans of full fat coca cola. (No it’s not all the same) if they read this can you tell me where you get this thanks
Great chippy in the heart of Lanark. A wide selection of decent priced meals to eat in or carry out. Ample parking in the adjacent car park. Excellent staff.
Online prebooking is no longer needed after Covid. Turn up and order.

Love this fish n chip shop. Nice staff. Only moan is you need a blind on window at front, when sunny if sat facing the window it's blinding and uncomfortable .
Popped in on way back to Glasgow , fish supper was delicious and chips properly cooked , curry sauce was just right ...only niggle was waiting time ..but thanks to just eat and the likes that's not really something that can be controlled .... Overall great quality which is all you really want
Travelling from wirral to cullen 8hr drive
Stopped here with my wife 4 kids and a dog. It's not pet friendly, but went to the effort of getting the summer chairs and tables out on front, just so we could all sit and eat, as the dog could not go in.
Food was also amazing.
This place is special. Well worth the money. Don't mess about with any other chippy on Lanark.
