We didn't stay, but we ate as a family in the bar area. Excellent choices on the specials board and on the menu. A bit more upmarket than the usual pub grub and very tasty indeed. Useful off road parking and a lovely, large pub garden and outdoors bar for sunny evenings.

Perfect pub in the village. Amazing food, lots of covers. Had the rugby on and central to the village which is perfect for us. Will try and book in here for accom but seems very popular and thus hard to secure.

A really excellent evening meal.
We went with the bruschetta and cauliflower bites to start which were very tasty and well presented and followed with a magnificent burger stack and fish and chips.
Fish was served in a perfectly crisp batter and served with homemade tartare sauce and minted crushed peas. The burger was true to their word and very "meaty" flavoured.
We finished with two brownies with homemade ice-cream and ginger crumble.
Overall The Dial bought some restaurant quality touches to some classic pub staples and coupled with attentive service and waiting times that hadn't suffered with it clearly being a very busy evening, comes highly recommended.
