Fantastic place for good food and genuinely friendly service. The waitress's chatted to the clientele and chef who brought our food out chatted about the local provenance of the eggs, we both had double yolks! Very comfy and homely, great food, good prices and lovely staff. I really recommend this place!

Grannys Kitchen located on the Lampeter High Street. Has just been taken over by the new kid on the block . Owen Marsh accompanied by Lillian Ramirez , hospitality and caring is in the blood of Lilian , so the New Grannys Kitchen is right at home with her . Owen an old face to Lampeter , a chef at the Black Lion now brings his pots and pans , with a sound of percussion in the back ground of The New Grannys Kitchen . This wonderful hub for locals and passers,- by to come and meet and experience the culinary expert in action . A tardist once inside with quirky items on display ! Tea pots is favourite at this kitchen . Old butter dishes plenty of nostalgia around this landmark in Lampeter . Ample room to accommodate parties or just a quiet table for one . Relaxing fire side chairs for people who has a problem with low seating a perfect setting in Grannys Kitchen . In the back ground a selection of tunes to take away the boredom and join in with toe tapping to the beat . The staff are all jovial to put the customers at ease , all in all a perfect location to rest and yet mingle . There's a cozy corner to enjoy solitude if you so wish . The sound of the steamer wooshing in the back ground and the grinding of the coffee sounds like you have just walked in to a Delicatessen in Italy with a Welsh twist . I looked at the Menu and went for Grannys number one breakfast , No disappointment an excellent choice . Bacon rashers nice and trimmed and thick , tightly rolled sausage , double egg and toast and large plum tomatoes accompanied by beans . I was in grave yard heaven . An extensive menu to choose from Give Grannys Kitchen a try and be the apple of Grannys eye . Now my Second visit equally as good as its first ordering something different to fill the crevis in my belly . Another 5 Star experience . No disappointments . Grannys Kitchen is a great find on the Lampeter's High Street .

I'm local and been here a few times - enjoyed every visit. Yesterday I brought my friend and he absolutely loved it! A highlight of Lampeter. My friend said he'd return to West Wales just to come again. Very friendly staff too! Highly recommend

A delightful little cafe. Wonderful service and food in a great atmosphere. My friend and I meet here once a month for brunch. And it is dog friendly too which I love.

I could not agree more with the other reviews... this is a brilliant gem on Lampeter's High Street. We just "wondered in" not knowing what a welcoming homely place this is. And the apple pie! OMG ! Do not leave the town without tasting it!

Plenty of choice on the menu, can recommend the loaded fries, lamb cawl, sweet chili chicken salad and the pancakes. Nice selection of cakes.

My sister, Sharon, and I had lunch in Granny's Kitchen on Sunday, 25th of June. We both had toasted cheese and onion sandwiches, shared a portion of chips and had soft drinks. The waitress service was prompt, efficient and very friendly. The toasties were accompanied by a lovely salad with coleslaw and the chips were superb! We would highly recommend this cafe to family and friends. Diolch o galon am y croeso ac am y bwyd hyfryd.
