Now this is the place in Lamlash to go for all your brunch needs. Best sausage rolls I've ever eaten, vegetarian options available, incredible cakes! Always a lovely welcome from staff, and dog friendly as well. Takeaway is available and sometimes recommended as the place can get quite busy (rightfully so) in the mornings during the weekend.

Cosy and busy little tea room. Excellent homemade cakes. Sandwiches and rolls available too. Reasonably priced and really friendly staff. There's a large communal table as well as smaller tables a few outside tables and takeaway. Great for lunch or just coffee and cake. Best Victoria Sponge on the island, and I've tried them all!

I am not one to leave reviews, however this was well worth going out my way to do. I have been to this cafe a few times and each time it gets better and better! Cinnamon buns to die for!! And the loveliest staff! Fresh breads, massive selection and really good prices. A gem on the island!

Been here twice now and can really reccomend it. The Leek and Arran blue cheese was superb and still warm, served with homemade coleslaw, a lovely brunch. The staff were nice and friendly, and a really chilled atmosphere was one to be savoured.

An unexpected delight for the taste-buds. The food was all freshly made and bursting with flavour. We had tomato and red pepper soup, a veggie ‘sausage roll’ with a truly delicious filling, and a to-die-for Tunisian polenta cake, flavoured with cardamom, rose and lime. Two big tables, which everyone shares. The customers seemed to understand how to make that work: friendly but not intrusive.

Nearly everywhere on Arran seems to have great food, but everything here is absolutely phenomenal. The best sausage rolls (both meat and vegetarian) AND the best cinnamon bun we've ever had. Top it off with a perfectly brewed cup of tea and just wow. Please go here on your first day instead of on your last like us!

We came here three days in a row because the food was just so delicious. The freshly baked sourdough baguettes were incredible and the sausage rolls were the best we’ve ever had. The banoffee cake slice was sensational. Fabulous service and prime location! We will be back! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🦭

Great coffee shop. A must visit when on the island. Service was amazing. Staff were friendly They had oat milk which was good for vegan drinks. Cakes were tasty too. We had a chocolate brownie which was the best if you like it fudgy We also had a chocolate and apricot cake and a smoked salmon sandwich. Many options for hot and cold foods. Don't get there too late as they are always busy!

This place is a bit of a hidden gem! The pastries are all freshly made and to die for, especially the sausage rolls and almond croissants. The cinnamon buns and fruit tarts are excellent and the coffee is great. Gets busy around lunch but there's a good amount of seating inside and out.

My daughter spotted The Old Pier Cafe for lunch. It was fantastic. Highly recommended, knew I had to remember to come on and provide a review. My daughter had the leek and potato soup, it was creamy and tasty. My husband and son had the enormous house made sausage rolls with fresh coleslaw. They both loved it. I had the sourdough BLT. It was outstanding. Super creamy sourdough, crisp bacon. It was a real treat. If you are in the area I'd highly recommend a visit. Also coped beautifully for my awkward request for a decaf cappuccino with oatmilk.
