We’ve just called in for a family Sunday lunch , party of 7 and the food and service was just amazing!
Thank you all at The Chequers for a wonderful visit. Sunday roast was just perfect! And the kids absolutely loved their meals too!

We stopped by for lunch to break up a long journey and I’m so glad we did - what a gem!! Wonderful warm Welcome and fantastic service and the food was absolutely delicious.

Really sweet room and a tasty breakfast. There was the oddest fire-exit light in the room that lit the whole place up green however through the night, which meant I kept waking up. I’ve never experienced a fire exit light in a bedroom before!

Sunday roast was excellent, the meat was lovely and tender with a good selection of vegetables cooked to perfection. Service was friendly and attentive without being overly intrusive.

We travelled from Peterborough to The Chequers at Lamberhurst to meet up with some friends for something to eat.Over the weekend we ate there twice. Friday night we ate the Fisherman's plate and the Hunter's plate. Generous servings and the food was amazing, extremely good sized portions and taste

We had a fantastic experience here today. Me and my sisters surprised our dad for his birthday and the staff were more than accommodating to our cause! Helen especially was fantastic !! We couldn’t fault her or any of the staff and would like to thank her personally for adding to such a lovely day.
