The best afternoon tea I've had and the service was amazing I would highly recommend it
This is what I call a traditional and very lovely tea room. The experience was a delight from start to finish. Thank you
I love this place. Have been so many times and it's always so lovely. Staff are great. Sandwiches are deliciously huge and the cream teas.....quintessentially English 😊
This is a pricey old cream tea but the scones are melt in the mouth and the tea is great quality. So I would always take my friends here
What a wonderful place! High tea in their lovely garden was unforgettable delicious!
We call in here when we're on the area, which isn't very often, but it's always a treat. Great food in a lovely location and wonderful staff. What more does one need?
Had a wonderful afternoon tea here yesterday, thoroughly recommend!
Lovely setting, a real English country garden. Cream tea was superb, probably one of the best I've ever had.
Loved the choice of teas absolutely lovely setting and breathtaking cakes - won’t even mention the atmosphere and log 🔥 ...
Best gluten free cream tea in area, can say no more!
Love a cream tea, and this was particularly yummy
We visited on a warm sunny day so found seating outside. In an area I call the secret garden photo below. The staff are friendly but it is very busy. They did tell us how long we would have to wait. So we ordered and went for a walk and came back. We had light much but the afternoon teas looked delicious too.
No better place to spend a sunny Sunday afternoon. Food and surroundings are exquisite. Highly recommend Royal Afternoon Tea - expensive, but worth every penny. You won't be disappointed
Really nice olde worlde vibe to the place, alas winter is fewer covers as the garden isn't available and still wait times are In excess of expectations (20 mins for coffee and cake). However the service was lovely and my wee man loved the experience and we were made to.fill welcome
Very nice our pet Maxx was allowed in as it was quiet and a bit nippy outside in the garden. We had some lovely sandwiches and cake along wit tea. No cheap by any means for what you had however it was very good and fresh.
Cream or High Tea in a secret garden... what could be more delightful in good weather? The service is very good, the scones, clotted cream and jam excellent, and the setting is magical. Lunch is also offered.
We sat in the beautiful garden and relaxed over a cream tea ... Exceptional and a must we even had rosehip jam 🌹
This little gem is one of the best places to visit in the local area.
Food is such high quality, home made and knowledgeable positive service. A really beautiful place to have lunch, a cream tea or coffee and cake. My favourite is to relax in the exquisite gardens, drink a pot of loose leaf tea whilst munching on a basket of freshly baked scones. There really is no other place like the Hunting Lodge. A delight and very special place in Lacock. We cannot wait for it to re- open post Covid!
We visited for lunch after Lacock Abbey, the restaurant was really busy but the service was really good. The leek & sweet potato soup was really tasty, the Welsh rarebit my friend loved it and the cakes were simply delicious. A really great place to stop for lunch. Highly recommended.
So delighted to find this on Google! We had a LOVELY tea here many years ago! Wonderful memories!!
Nice and chilled, and a lovely warm fire. Big pot of tea, very nice
