What an amazing place. Delicious homemade food, salads were very substantial and beautifully presented. And lemon drizzle cake is a must for everyone! Will definitely be back thank you
Simply fantastic tea rooms. Great example of a very British experience, in an immensely impressive, imposing, old stately home and large estate. The tea room itself is in a very, very old room that is adjacent to the old chapel. No fake reproduction work here, it's genuinely hundreds of years old. Amazing staff, Good menu, and properly brilliant food that's fantastic value for money. The outdoor scenery is utterly astonishing. Staggeringly hard to beat the views ANYWHERE. The tea rooms themselves could use a little bit of decluttering in some spots, but it's charm outweighs those little nit picking points... The only negative is the drive into site. First off, Google maps is WRONG(I've let them know) you can NOT turn in via the a556. The only entry is via a5033. No matter what car you have, go very slow. It's an AWFUL surface from entry to car park. Use the road signs for the tea rooms, Google will just send you up a creek otherwise..... If you have a decent car, especially a low slung fast sports car, go ULTRA SLOW and pay attention. If so it's fine, otherwise make sure you take gloves and incontinence underwear.. you will need to hide the stark white knuckles, and what will definitely be shooting out, as you drive over a model of the grand canyon - courtesy of the pot hole gnomes who have been hard at work turning the driveways into terrifying car destruction devices... It's also only 1 car wide, with cow grids, so make sure your passengers are chanting gothic prayers to the car gods that you don't run into anyone, or you will be stuck, or worse reversing through the pothole playpit.. be sensible and slow, and you will be fine... Highly recommend going.
The lady who runs this place couldn’t have been more helpful or lovely, both in advance of coming with my disabled mother, and in terms of helping her when she was there.
The afternoon tea was excellent - brilliant value for money and delicious homemade cakes and sandwiches.
The building itself and the surrounding grounds are spectacular.
Well worth a visit- we will certainly be going back. Thank you for a lovely afternoon.
A fabulous meal as always, with fantastic and friendly service. A beautiful day to be at the Tea Room.
What a delight, beautiful afternoon tea for the second time with friends. So friendly and helpful the lovely lady who does the afternoon teas. Will continue to visit, gorgeous food in a beautiful setting. Would highly recommend. Thank you to the whole team there, we had a lovely afternoon tea. See you soon.
A unique experience. Tea rooms attached to St Peters Chapel/Church offer a friendly welcome and great food and drinks. After you have eaten visit the Church which featured in the wedding scene in Peaky Blinders.

Amazing teas, cakes, and if they have it available, ask for the quiche, it's divine. The tearoom is in in a very cosy room with the chapel nearby, absolutely stunning historical surroundings, and wonderful staff (Debbie and her mum cook beautifully)
Absolutely fabulous. I've been meaning to go here for many years and so glad I finally did. Beautiful grounds and the tearoom itself is lovely. Best homemade soup I've tasted in years, very reasonably priced and the staff are just an absolute delight. Can't wait to go back.
I had my 60th birthday celebrations here. Nothing was to much trouble. The planning and preperation was fantastic. The sandwiches and cakes all made fresh on the day. Debbie and her team, worked so hard, continually topping up the cake stands, teas and coffee's and dietary requirements were strickly adhered to. A fabulous afternoon, thank you.
Beautiful tea room and polite friendly staff and lovely food .
