Had a meal out here with family about a month ago. Nice friendly service, good atmosphere and interesting surrounding.
Food was very nice, freshly cooked and served in good amount of time. A variety of choices to choose from, although lunch menu is fairly restricted (again most likely to things being freshly made). Should be something for everyone. Grilled fish of the day was very nice!
Parking is a bit of a pain and building is inaccessible if you use a wheelchair
Lovely place to have a meal. Went with my fiancée The place is steeped in history and the manager gave us a tour and explained the features to us both, which was a nice touch.
The service was great and the waiter knew the menu and recommended some great tasting sides.
They are currently working on a garden terrace for a separate dining experience which sounds great. They are also working on private dining rooms converted from the old prisoner holding cells. Which sounds amazing!
They also offer light meals and creams teas. You can have a wedding here and also hire a smaller room for smaller occasions which is Cody and would be perfect for meetings or a baby shower.
Two courses for two. Which two alcoholic drinks cost exactly £65. Not too bad considerjng the surroundings and service.

Been many times,never fails to deliver on food and service. Thoroughly recommend. Informal dining in a court room! Has rooms to stay over but not seen them. Good parking,impressive building and decor. Staff always top class and chef always ready to deal with any dietary issues. Has rooftop bar for good weather. Couldn't be better.

Had a very nice lunch here today. Attentive staff, very quirky room and the food was very nice and not overly expensive. Food seems fresh with a decent chef. My only criticism is that it needed someone to 'clean it up a bit' filthy ashtrays outside possibly left from night before and at 12.00 pm the ladies toilet was filthy (there was even a dirty footprint on the wall of a cubicle!?) So clearly no one had cleaned this area from the night before. Perhaps the cleaner had let them down because other than this it was really nice. Also I like fact it's easy to park right at the front of the building.
I visited the Courthouse on Saturday evening with a group of friends and we had a great time. We had a couple of delicious cocktails before dinner outside; there are plenty to choose from! The food itself was outstanding; the Herefordshire beef is a must have and was brilliantly cooked.
All in all it was the perfect place to meet up with friends and catch up in a wonderful atmosphere. I will definitely be visiting again.
Amazing food and service in a stylish place. We opted for the Sunday menu and went for different alternatives each so that we could get the chance to taste the variety. We were not let down. The restaurant is set in an old Crown Court and it looks amazing. There is also sufficient off road parking. Delightful experience. Remember to bok in advance if you want to secure the place.
Well worth a visit in our opinion. There is a very thoughtful and varied menu, the food was outstanding and we ate the lot. The service was excellent and we were very well looked after.Now, let’s tell you about our evening in Knutsford where we were invited to this restaurant that is situated in an epic building.
Barrister's is a solid Clayton bar to stop by for a drink with any sized group! They typically have more space available than similar options in the area and a better beer selection. It's the perfect mix of neighborhood bar/pub and sports bar. Went to the Clayton Art Fair and stumbled into this establishment. Have to say will definitely be back. Owners Sam & Christy were so nice and the bartenders Gabby & Theresa were the bomb. Can't wait to go back.
