Had an absolute amazing time, we had a cpl of hrs in knutsford wandering around, then a fabulous meal in the restaurant, had a free upgrade on our room which was beautiful, and then to top it all off a fantastic breakfast, we will definitely be going again and would highly recommend this beautiful place
Liked this place. Very friendly and attentive staff. Good food in the restaurant. Our room was huge with a nice view over the fields. Recommend.
Just finished a festive meal out with our family, probably the best steak I've have over the Christmas period. A most enjoyable meal with good company and pleasant and courteous staff.
Just returned home from a really fabulous meal with 14 friends , the food and service was something all the staff should be proud of. Excellent menu , we all were having to make some hard decisions concerning choice!! Thank you for making our afternoon a totally amazing start to the Christmas season. The food was excellent Pate and Spring Rolls as a starter with the Battered Fish and my wife had the Hake Grilled! The food was hot and the portion sizes were great and well worth the 2nd visit in 2 weeks !! WELL DONE!!

Had my mums 90th party at “pheasant”. Great night, staff really attentive and food excellent. All our guests were very impressed and I’m sure a few will return.

Stayed in the hotel for two nights. Booked on the day. Stayed in room 1 first night which was lovely then got upgraded to suite the second night with a 4 poster bed. Staff are completely fabulous. Lady on reception is very helpful and a really customer focused person. Food, well again top notch. Home made soup was extremely tasty. Also had the award winning duck rolls.... I can see why they are. Gent behind the bar the first night was very accommodating and great service. For ÂŁ80 a night and very reasonable food prices. Definitely a complete winner and booked next week for the week as well! 10/10 guys. Couldn't ask for anything more. Plus anyone staying. They don't do instant coffee in the rooms you have a mini purculator! Small touches. Well done guys!!!!

The Burger 🍔 here you can call a proper burger. Big , delicious, fresh.
Stopped off here as a rendezvous. Lovely big garden, good service and a lovely big children's play area in the back garden. Part of a chain pub but seemingly with an emphasis on great food and service. Food looked good and we had a good meal at a sister pub a few days later which was very nice.
Had a meal on Sunday served by the lovely Amy who welcomed us with a smile. So much so we decided to pop in for a coffee the next day due to our train being cancelled. Again Amy was there with the same lovely manner. Definitely recommend.
Went for a Sunday roast to celebrate my partner's mother's eightieth. Food was verygood and the service was excellent. All of us enjoyed our meals and if in the area would visit again.
Fabulous place to stay. This was our second visit and we will be back again next year.
We stayed here to go to the Coronation Street tour (30 to 49 minute drive away from Corrie and the Imperial War Museum which is ideal if you’d prefer to stay somewhere quiet and can drive).
Warm, welcoming and safe environment.
Plenty of parking including a machine for for electric car charging. 3 disabled parking spaces. Warm welcome and smiles from staff.
Bedroom was neat, tidy and spacious.
Walk in shower. Tea, coffee and a few biscuits provided upon arrival.
Great food and a good variety of non gluten containing dishes (idea for those with intolerances but alert staff if you have an allergy).
Good prices for most food. Good selection of drinks.
Breakfast was good! A few options for breakfast including full breakfast (hot breakfast) as well as cereals, yoghurts, pastries, fruit, fruit juices, tea and coffee.

We went here from essex for my aunties 80th birthday celebration.
We had a buffet and stayed overnight.
Location wise this pub is perfectly located as the train station is literally a 1 minute walk, one stop and you are in Knutsford a beautiful town with cafes / restaurants and boutique style shops , wonderful!
Our service was impeccable from start to finish , reception greeting fantastic and bar staff especially AMY was just incredibly professional / courteous / helpful and much more … thank you Amy for all your help to make the 2 days stay special.
The manager was fantastic as we had a puncture and he assisted with the help in getting us back on the road, again thank you.

By the way the sunday roast here is the best I’ve ever had so a massive compliments to the chef ! Absolutely fantastic food here …well done chef !
Beers wise again a very large selection , a massive pub with a massive garden to accommodate, excellent size for any situation.
Overall unbelievably accommodating…simply cannot fault from start to finish !

Very pleasant ambience for celebrating my sister's 80th birthday. Good food, very nice staff, fair prices and "the cheese pie was something else!". We'll be going again.
A beautiful country pub
Large seating and bar area. Lots of outdoor seating for when the weather is nice. Prices have gone up somewhat making this a more premium pub. Food is good quality and service is good.

A lovely restaurant and bar. Food was very good and so was the service. The grounds were amazing with room for younger children to enjoy.
Such a lovely country pub, with lovely food service and atmosphere. The children loved exploring in the garden, there was so much space and things to keep them happy.
Very pleasant dining experience with family. Food and service were both great and the staff were friendly.
Booked a room last minute to break up a long road trip. Staff was very friendly and got us sorted quickly. Room was spotless and well decorated. Later had a wonderful dinner next to a fireplace. The food and service was top notch. After dinner and dessert, headed to the bar and enjoyed a few libations in a relaxing setting. Would highly recommend if staying in the area.
We vist the pub frequently and this weekend was no exception I can not stress how warm and welcoming Amy is, nothing is too much trouble and she goes above and beyond everytime. Amy always seems happy to help the newer members of staff.

Went there for food the food was 10/10 and the service was great. Met a chef called Danny, we ordered his suggestions and everything was spot on. We’ll definitely be back!
Came in for food today had a lovely gammon. Cooked to perfection and had everything the menu said it would have. Props to the chef he did an amazing job will be coming back
