The Frozen Mop - Knutsford - Photo album

Excellent location, food was lovely although on the pricey side for pub food. "Nibbles" e.g. olives, bread & balsamic were £5 each, starters were £8-£10 each and mains were around £18-£25 each. Really good quality though and a small play area for the kids. Will go again
Visited here for first time 22nd August. Went for a light lunch with a friend, first time visit for me and I was very happy with the whole experience. Parking was plentiful and the dining room was set out in a way that you don’t feel packed in like sardines. Had the fish finger on a bun which was
A bit quiet on an early Saturday lunchtime, but service was great, food excellent, and biscuits for the dog. The food includes more adventurous dishes (e.g. sticky beef korean salad) than standard pub fare and is beautifully cooked.
Visited as a party of five for lunch and had a really good time. The salt and pepper chicken wings were delicious, vegan burger good, chips could be better. Chicken and halloumi skewer dish needs finesse; it’s just a lot of things on a plate at the moment and would be better served gyros style. Sta
We recently had our 'day 2' wedding celebrations at The Frozen Mop. We used the Hideout which accommodated all of our hugover guests perfectly and had a fantastic sandwich buffet. Heather was on hand prior to the event via email and on the day which was great - thank you! They were able to accommoda
Great food, lovely atmosphere.
Absolutely lovely Sunday roast. Literally top three I've ever had. Starters great. Really well done out restaurant interior. Good wines and beers. Just very poor, disorganised service. Aside from one bloke who was over from the Ship at Styal, no one seemed to have a clue.
We had come down for my bother-in-law cricket match (Sat19/8). We decided very late to go for dinner with 7 of us I was thinking it would hard to get a table. We got one at 6 o’clock and my 2 year old could play in the little playground they have before dinner. The service was very good can’t have a
First visit to this really friendly and comfortable bar/restaurant. A treat from my daughter for Fathers day. I knew from the moment I sat down I would want to visit again. My daughter had been before & she asked when was the last time I had a traditional Sunday lunch.....wow ! I'm glad I followed h
Went for sunday lunch with friends and we were all v impressed. Food was excellent, we had turkey, beef and nut roasts, with extra cauliflour cheese. They were all large portions, really good quality and tasty food, great value for money, friendly and helpful staff, and lovely beer garden in beauti
For a Monday night it was of course pretty quiet but the food and staff are very good. All cooked and presented with first class service and with no complaints from us at all. Thank you for a lovely evening.
Top quality Sunday lunch at reasonable price.
This was the second time we have visited this lovely pub/restaurant and both times we have very much enjoyed our meals. For starters - A duo of pate with rustic bread, tomato and balsamic soup with rustic bread and garlic flat bread. All of which were enjoyed in our group. For main meals - Fish and
A very cosy place to grab a bite to eat, in such a peaceful area. The food was delicious and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. If you sit next to one of the fires, it’s even better!
What's not to love about this great gastro pub. Awesome staff great food and lovely lovely beer. They didn't even mind me and my mate walking around as mammals
