We went on Saturday night at 7.30pm table for 4, we had hummous and the brie starters, chicken, belly pork and halloumi and falafel kebabs and really couldn't fault the quality of the food. Enjoyed the atmosphere. Think they need to watch the clientele in the bar we had one very large guy whose obviously a regular push his way past us as though he owned the place, no manners

Very nice atmosphere, busy but not too busy that the service was impaired. Well looked after, had Sunday dinner and it's a very big portion. Lovely veg and good amount of beef. Enjoyed it , music by a chap in the corner was a nice touch too.

I love this little place.. hidden on the high street 👍🏽It's quirky looking, cosy and welcoming. But most importantly the food and drink are lovely tasting, very well presented and different. Look forward to going again.. Nice friendly staff.. Love the chandelier 😘

We visited the Botanist last night for my sisters hen party. We booked the Cocktail Masterclass which was absolutely fantastic! The barman (I’m SO sorry, I can’t remember his name!) was amazing and really got everyone involved and had us all laughing throughout! The cocktails were incredible - I highly recommend the Raspberry Amaretto! We then headed upstairs for our meal and everyone in our group (15 of us!) kept commenting on how delicious every course was! Seriously tasty! The service was brilliant and when we were told our table was now needed for the next guests, they were very polite and apologetic even though it took us a while to finish paying/working out the bills and they were clearly under pressure needing us out. Thank you to everyone at the Botanist for making my sisters evening a huge success!

The food was really tasty and the service was great, Ruby was chatty, attentive and made it a lovely experience. Would prefer a plate to wooden board food came on (pots of peas and condiments were fiddly )but could have asked for one. Scampi was scrummy. Would recommend and will visit again x

Myself and 5 of my friends met for lunch this week, Monday, at The Botanist. Service was great, our waiter( apologies I have forgotten your name) was super polite, helpful and attentive… Food was absolutely delicious (, though one friend commented that the hanging prawn kebab could have been more hot) The restaurant was airy and there was plenty of room for us around the table. There was pleasant music playing in the background so we could hear what each other was saying!! We have booked for our Christmas get together already. I definitely recommend this lovely restaurant. I had already eaten there previously and again service was excellent.

We went for the bingo and it was great. A live musician playing 30 seconds of a song and if you have it you cross it off. Atmosphere was great, we had a glass of prossecco which was lovely and the sharing cookie dough which was beautiful.

Amazing flavours, chic vibe, and decent service. The food and drinks were all fantastic - lovely cocktails, halloumi kebabs, and chilli chips. Drinks sizes were good, especially for only £8-10 each. The live music when we went on a Friday evening was a little loud for conversation, but otherwise zero complaints. There is street parking outside, and do recommend booking in advance if coming on the weekend.

Went for lunch with several friends, a few weeks ago. There were five of us in total - one vegan, one vegetarian and the rest of us with no particular requirements. The menu isn't cheap but there is a very good selection of options and the food was great quality and extremely tasty. All of us enjoyed our meals - mains and desserts. Several of us had the vegan roast dinner - a Celeriac and Mushroom Wellington with gravy and various veg - it was really delicious! I had a fully vegan meal - the Wellington and a Banana Sundae - even though I'm not vegan myself. I was very full and very happy at the end of my meal. We hadn't eaten there before and my friends were impressed with the place and really pleased to have tried it out. We sat upstairs, where there is an atrium - it was a lovely day and it was so nice and bright up there. The decor of the place is a funky, rustic-vintage style - and it's dog-friendly too! (At least it was downstairs... not sure about upstairs). The staff were good and friendly - the young girl who served us had a really good sense of humour. All in all a very nice afternoon out and we would all go again!!

Nice place with good atmosphere. Quite pricey some of the menu options. They have vegan options on the menu too but not very many. There was only one pudding that was vegan. We had the vegan meatball kebabs which were ok but only come with rice, chips or Cous Cous. No salad or flat bread. It was expensive for what it was.

Visited the botanist (Knutsford) today and can say, whole heartedly, the best roast dinner I’ve ever had. And to accompany this, the best service I have received in a long time. Nothing was too much for anyone and special recognition to the manager who catered for our every need. Being retired, me and my wife like to indulge most weekends so are acutely aware of how rare 10/10 service is. Thanks again to the team and everyone at botanist who made our experience so lovely. Thanks again. Bruce and Jane x
