We had steak and the ultimate spicy beef burger, then rocky road sundae and choc fudge cake for dessert. Food was lovely, staff were so pleasant and welcoming. Moyra was amazing! Prices of food is great and the atmosphere is warm. Will definitely come again 😊
Today i had a lovely steak baguette and chips my daughter had club sandwich and chips absolutely gorgeous ( couldn't eat all the baguette so Moyra got me a box so i could take it home ) and we were served by Moyra who was cheery and very helpful
The refurbishment looks very nice, the staff were brilliant couldn’t do enough for us.
We didn’t wait long for our food if I have one complaint it is the Hunters Chicken was over cooked, the Sherry trifle cheesecake was lovely.
Also our friends went at tea time and the first round of drinks they ord

Came in Sunday at around 6, place was quiet so the kind man in the blue shirt asked where we would prefer to sit. I called in with my toddler on the off chance as I have visited years previously and loved it. Special mention to Moyra who went above and beyond with us both. She came with a high chair to my table and even brought my drinks over as she could see it was a struggle. She was so polite and chatty and

We were invited to there refit opening day. The staff were fantastic drinks were great & the food was lovely 🥰 a special mention to Hannah who was very attentive & very helpful.
We pop in after church every Sunday. Everyone enjoys their lunch. The staff are happy to help and are cheerful.

I had an excellent steak on steak night! It was cooked perfectly and piping hot. The atmosphere was lovely and the staff were very nice, especially Moyra who was very kind, attentive and extremely efficient! Overall it was a perfect meal and a great night. I will definitely return!

1st time visit, friendly welcome. No waiting for table, food arrived fast and hot. Friendly efficient staff. My wife is a fussy eater, had a mixed grill and cleared her plate. Steak and ale pie plus the cheesecake are must haves. Definitely going back.
