Delicious food, and superb service. Usually only buy the delicious honey and spelt bread to take home, but sat in for coffee, cake, and milkshakes. Catered for our allergies with ease. Will definitely be back soon!

Highly recommend a visit my husband said it was the best cheesecake he had ever had. My two little boys both enjoyed chocolate cupcakes and a milkshake. Friendly environment will definitely be back to try a Sunday roast

We ate a pleasant lunch here with sandwiches and coffee being our choices. It was quiet, but we were late, so we had missed the earlier 'busy' time.

Best cafe I've been in for a while. As we walked through the door we were welcomed by a nice little lady behind the counter. I said can we have two of your home made Pies, chips & gravy. It was absolutely spot on. As a chef myself I couldn't have beat the meal for quality price & service. When Arriving at Knotts End hungry head straight to Dawns tea room & bakery. You won't be disappointed. It's very rare you get homemade chips these days and good roast beef gravy but this place has nailed it. We sat right next to the cake counter so bought four nice cakes to takeaway. The whole visit cost £15 now that's a price you won't beat.

We came across this place coming back from a walk. Great service & lovely food which wasn't expensive We chose to sit outside as we had our dog with us . The lady serving us brought the food & drinks out to us, pleasant lady. We will definitely go there again

Came upon this little café bakery while on a visit to Knott End. It's located opposite the library, close to the village square. Very clean, light and homely inside, with some interesting old photos of local scenes on the walls. A few tables outside. There's a clean toilet at the back of the café. The lady who served me was very pleasant and welcoming. Most of the people who came into the café appeared to be regulars, and this made for a casual friendly atmosphere. They do sandwiches, toasties, soup and light meals. As well as hot and cold beverages, there's a small bar offering alcoholic drinks. Opted for the tuna melt toastie with salad, very tasty and the salad was crisp and fresh. Chips were extra, and they were lovely! Homemade, thick cut and very hot. Nice hot pot of tea, with a china teacup. There were some delicious looking cakes and pastries on display, could not resist trying a chocolate covered pastry and I can thoroughly recommend! It was filled not only with cream but also berries and lots of custard, and the chocolate was really thick. The whole meal was very good value for money. Would definitely come back here if I'm in Knott End again.

Nice place. Reasonable and good quality. Didn't eat so cannot justify 5 stars, but food looked good. Okay so now I have eaten will change to 5 stars.Had the breakfast. Need to grill the bacon in future and use whole mushrooms.

My wife has coeliac disease and all the cakes contained gluten. They made her a special consisting of meringues, cream and fruit. This was greatly appreciated .
