Fantastic food, amazing award winning cider, brilliant cocktails on Fridays & Saturdays by Sumac. Local real ale's, excellent whisky selection & recognised by CAMRA ā¤ļø. Totally worth multiple visits if visiting the area. Hannah, Kev & Sumac make you feel incredibly welcome. Love it.

Stopped off without a booking and we were fitted in.
Not a huge menu but the food was home made and very tasty. I loved the pickled red cabbage with my gammon. Great steak and ale pie .. and the treacle sponge pudding and custard got a big thumbs up.
We booked a table at late notice for our last evening of your holidays, as we were staying nearby. What a fabulous place, food was amazing and my partner loved the ciders. Thank you to the owners for accommodating my very fussy child. Definitely a great end to our holiday. Thank you so much.
Lovely couple who run this stunningly quaint pub. Food was quality and the portions were very generous .Dog friendly too.
Would go out my way to return here if in Derbyshire again
Popped in for a mid-day pint after a walk. Very welcoming. Good ales and ciders. Beer garden out the back. Didn't try the food but other customers clearly happy.
Cosy little pub. Not many tables so booking a must during busy season. Very friendly staff. Food excellent, good selection to suit all tastes. Good cask ales. We have previously eaten at lunchtime a few times, this was our first evening visit. Will certainly go again when we are in the area.
Spending a friends weekend nearby and came into the village to this lovely pub. Very friendly and welcoming hosts and extremely impressive menu - āpub food plusā Iād say! Homecooked and prepared to order.

Camped locally and came here twice. Staff were wonderful, welcoming and friendly/chatty.
A large group of us ate here on our 2nd visit and the food was to die for, especially the Calamari starterā¦ best weāve ever had! In fact, weāll go back just for that!
