The Radnorshire is our local, and since we moved to the village a year ago Martyn and Sue and been so very welcoming. The food here is superb - my other half and I went out to dinner last night just the 2 of us (a rare treat!) and had the most delicious meal I've had in a very long time. As it was Tuesday it was "Specials night" so the food is a bit cheaper and portion sizes smaller than usual - which is perfect for me as I don't have a big appetite. I can thoroughly recommend the chicken with creamy mash and leeks. Service with a smile, great food and great atmosphere.

Beautiful meal last Saturday night to celebrate a birthday. Maybe one of the best steaks ever. Very friendly and welcoming.

A lovely warm welcome from Sue & Martyn in a really cute country pub. All the authentic atmosphere you could want, friendly locals at the bar, a small, intimate dining area but also tables in the garden and bar. Had Sunday lunch and it was undoubtedly the best I've had anywhere. Nothing has been scrimped on in terms of quality & quantity, just perfect all round. I had Creme Brulee for pud, which I'm always nervous about as I'm really fussy about it and I don't know why I worried, it was perfect! Lovely touches with the presentation too, really wish I'd taken a photo! All in all, can't recommend highly enough. Oh yes, and the beer was great too!!

The food is really great. The owners are friendly, generous and will help you with anything. The pub is one of the things we most look forward to when we visit Beguildy! Chris

We ate here 4 times in one week whilst on holiday. Great food, really friendly service, value for money too. Just submitted trip advisor review which should be posted soon. Top marks to the new owners :-)

Lovely little local pub. Stayed at beacon view pods and had a lovely walk over the tops to get to this quant country pub. Top food and Def worth the visit. Plus the landlord also offered a lift home.... Not sure if that's because we'd had a few..... Or more so as he knew the elevation of the walk back 🤣 top pub, top grub.

The most delicious food and welcoming atmosphere. Nothing was too much trouble and all 6 of us thoroughly enjoyed our meal. We can't wait to visit again when staying back in the area next July.

We went twice while on holiday nearby and ate both times. The pub has a welcoming feel and the garden was beautifully maintained. We both had pints of local Ludlow ale which we highly recommend. Between the two visits we tried the steak, risotto, fish and chips and chicken and chips. All meals were very tasty and generous portions.

This is a great pub! We stopped locally and walked 4 miles through the wonderful countryside for lunch and a pint (well a few) at this establishment. We did book in advance but there were tables available but I’m sure in the height of Summer it’ll be very busy. The menu ranges from the usual main meals, sandwiches, light bites and you can order off the specials board. The welcome in to the pub was second to none and the service was perfect. A nice little beer garden to the side and enough to watch the world go by in peace a quite. We picked the weather well so the borders were in full bloom. So would I return….. Yes! Would I walk another 4 miles……. Yes! If fact I’d walk more. Drop in for a great welcome, food at a reasonable price and a local ale, or a Gin, or a cider if you like but go, it’s a cracker of a pub! 👌🏻

Lovely little pub with great food. Everything we had was well cooked and tasted great. Really good Ludlow Ales on tap. Most of all the couple running the place are absolute stars, friendly and kind and an absolute pleasure to meet. I really do recommend this lovely pub if you’re staying near by.

If I never lived 250 miles away this would definitely be my new local pub. The staff and regular customers were so friendly and our drinks were perfect. We never actually sampled the food because we had already eaten but we did see food being served and it looked delicious. My only regret is that I live so far away.

Amazing food served with a smile. We had our Sunday lunch and opted for a 3 course meal which at £18 is amazing. Our hostess suggested we wait to order our dessert, based on how much space we had left and that was so apt as we landed up sharing a dessert. The options for non meat eaters is very limited but I was happy with my delicious bowl of pasta.
