Very nice Sam Smith's pub. Fires so hot they'll burn your face if you sit within a metre. Few different rooms. Always a relaxed atmosphere.

Popular with male, middle-class pensioners but welcoming to all. A Sam Smith's pub, so great beer at budget prices. Friendly staff and good atmosphere.

A quiet traditional Sam Smith pub, very cheap drinks in comparison to most of Knaresboro. The first/last pub you come to on the highstreet depending on which direction. On the few occasions we've been it's been a very friendly atmosphere.

Olde world type of pub. Made up of small rooms. All pleasant. Staff seems ok decent car park and Samuel Smith's beer. No food. Kids not allowed.

A traditional english pub. Not many of these left and this is absolutely my favourite pub in the world. Top notch service the landlord and lady is a true yorkshire born and bred. all the drinks are brewed by Sam smiths so there are no added chemicals so the hangovers are better. also the price is much lower averaging at about 2 quid a pint . There are no tvs or music but this is expected for a traditional english pub and provides the place with a much more social atmosphere as sound on phones and swearing are also forbidden. I drink here weekly and will continue to do so so long as the landlords stay the same ! :) they deserve an award thats for sure
