It was full but we managed to find a table. Dog friendly and friendly staff. The food was good but there was hair on the chips, which is an absolute no go. The salad had a very good dressing, highly recommended.
Bit pricey in my opinion.
Nice place to stop for some lunch and pint if your lucky enough to get a table on a sunny Saturday ! All of the food was really nice and arrived in okay time to say the place was packed! Big queues at the bar though but to be expected given the time we visited! Would visit again!!

Every time we go to Knaresborough we go here for food they do the best homemade chips and the prices are very reasonable. Great service and nice staff

Beautiful little pub, boasting an outside authentic pizza oven. Food arrived shortly after ordering and was fantastic and so reasonably priced. Staff attentive and polite.

Fabulous spot when it's sunny! Absolute sun trap on the terraced gardens, with a great view of the riverside below. Decent pints and the smell from the fresh pizza and burger grill on the terrace is definitely worth investigating 😊
What a great little spot, just by the river and park. Friendly staff, great selection of drinks. Fantastic food with a selection to suit most tastes. I have been here a couple of times before, always a busy pub. Service behind the bar can be a little slow. With the number of people working, I would expect it to be a little quicker, maybe too many people collecting glasses and not enough filling them.
