A lovely, traditional pub with a limited but well curated selection of ales plus the usual line up of keg beers, lagers and ciders. We visited for Sunday lunch and had the steak pie - was really tasty with amazing chips. But even better was the service. A friendly welcome on arrival, for our family and dog. Food very good and came quickly. Good menu and not expensive. Has inside and outside seating. A good pub for food or a drink in the bar area. Even had dog biscuits for good dogs on departure. Very happy to call again next time we visit knasbrou
Very cosy pub with friendly and accommodating staff. The food was fantastic. My thanks to the staff, I took my Polish mother-in-law for her first ever pub lunch and she loved it!
Really pleased with our visit here. Dog friendly as mentioned. Food took a while to arrive but was well presented and good. Staff were friendly and we were made to feel welcome. With the real fire going it would have been tempting to stay longer. Would definitely recommend and return.
Had a lovely lunch here, fish and chips and scampi and chips. The food was excellent chips to die for. Lovely greeting from the friendly bar man when we walked in. Would go again.
