Tidy pub with well spaced tables. Good selection of beer on tap. Food better presented than some restaurants I've paid too much at. Looking forward to another visit soon and trying their crumble.
We visited on a Saturday night and weren't sure if there'd be room- thankfully we got a table. Dogs are allowed so we were all welcome.
We had some drinks and a meal- my pie and mash was fantastic! The chef makes the pies from scratch and you can really tell. We'll definitely be back!
Really nice traditional pub, home cooked food not microwaved, really attentive team and asking are you ok often enough, Also dog friendly. Not a gastro pub but still got a feel of good wholesome cooked food, what you can expect from a local village tavern. Would recommend the Sunday mean

The Chef even made room for us by moving tables around to accommodate us,

A very good Sunday lunch. Traditional pub environment,a hearty menu. Only negative,no cranberry to go with my Turkey.

Fabulous roast pork crackling veg Yorkshire pud and gravy highly recommend though the wait was worth it. Friendly staff as well and good atmosphere

Lovey little restaurant my daughter chose to have her 40th birthday party looked after us very well food and service were first class

Stopped in tonight with the family for dinner. Really nice food and a very welcoming atmosphere! The steak & ale pies were very tasty and good quality, the steak & chips equally delicious and our youngest daughter devoured the chicken club sandwich. Definitely a place to grab a top pub meal in Kn

Well located. Friendly helpful staff. Lovely room with massive bed. Very tasty evening meals. Would try and book the same hotel next time. Well worth a visit.
