The Mitre - Knaresborough - Photo album

The Mitre hosted our Wedding celebration in July 2023 and we can't speak more highly of the staff and the service. We were able to rent out the whole pub for the day, work with the head chef to cater a menu and the manager to plan out the day. Nothing was out of reach for the Mitre and their staff,
Didn't stay in hotel. A group of friends, we pick a town and check out the pubs, starting with a bite to eat, so the Mitre had the privilege of first blood for us. Lovely building, close to the station, with good food at a fairly reasonable price. Staff were super friendly. Enjoyed it so much we
The Mitre is a quirky pub situated opposite the railway station. I wouldn't recommend driving there as parking nearby is a total faff. The beers are top notch and the building is charming as it strides the hilly terrain. Food is available but I can't comment about rooms as my visit there was very br
The staff are an absolute credit to this lovely little hotel. Friendly, happy and helpful they really seem to enjoy working there. Special mention to the brilliant lady serving breakfast... she is a star. The room was spacious, clean and bed so comfy I slept really well. Bathroom large, warm, clean
Fantastic food as always. Service 10/10. Recommended to everyone. Child and pet friendly.
I stayed here when I competed at the Northern Shooting Show this month (May 23). When I arrived I was very tiered. John looked after me and went above and beyond in making my stay comfortable and trouble free. The room was spotless with coffee/tea in the room. The food was homely and filling. T
The barman was a great guy. Very welcoming. Had a some lunch whilst we were there which was good quality food. Very reasonably priced. Really nice pub and definitely worth a visit. Great selection of beers and ales...even weissbier! 👏😍
Lovely modern bar in an older building, right next to Knaresborough Station. Friendly, polite service and good selection of drinks. Clean and smart surroundings. A nice little seating area outside. Dog friendly.
Recently went here on a family day trip to Knaresborough and I was very pleased with the food and service. The Sunday dinner was very nice with lots of choices for meat and veg. The same can definitely be said for the kids pasta which came with a beautiful garlic bread!
Didn't stay overnight. I just called in for food, which was great and a lovely young man behind the bar who was very welcoming
A lovely pub with great beer next to the train station or half way uo the hill. Had a really nice burger in the Sunday and a nice pint of ale. Would definitely recommend to anyone after great service great food and great beer.
The Mitre. Booked 2 nights away . Checked in on Friday very helpful polite staff member helped out with parking. Didn't know if had car park . But help out on that. Good chap for that . He said while you and park up I will see if your room is ready it was.checked in and paid for room. Then started
Loads of beers on offer, nice food and friendly service. Good location, if you have time for a pint before catching a train etc
Ideal for meeting up with family as The Mitre is right by the train station and ideal for a York/Harrogate axis. We went to eat with two, shall we say, vibrant granddaughters and their parents. The food and service were really good, but above that, the staff were really kind and helpful.
We went out for a late tea and took advantage of their recent promotion. The food and service was good, being mid week it was quieter than normal but will go again as we need to support our local business's and we enjoyed the evening.
A quiet Monday evening. A good range of beers. Friendly welcoming staff. Difficult parking. No dedicated parking area as far as I could tell, so public kerbside parking only. Beware Network Rail spaces for rail uses only, otherwise penalty applies, even in the evening!
