Excellent cafe by the river. We had the Bacon, brie and cranberry panini with a pot of tea each, all of which was lovely. Highly recommend and will return to try the pancake and waffle menu!

We are regular visitors to the black mulberry. Always a warm welcome to be had and the staff are ever so friendly and helpful. It’s worth taking the walk from town down to waterside. Lovely food and probably the best coffee I’ve ever had!

Lovely meal here today. Busy little place but nothing was a bother. Pleasant staff keeping everything ticking over smoothly. Had homemade chicken pie which was beaut! The gravy was something else! Very good find down by the river. Its also Dog friendly. Highly recommended.

Popped in here for the first time with a friend while we were walking the dogs (who I'm looking after at the moment). We sat outside in the sun overlooking the river with the two pooches. We had a latte & the waitress brought the dogs a treat each. We found the staff very friendly to humans & dogs alike! The menu was varied & next time I will certainly be trying some of the food available. Definitely be visiting again, with or without my furry friends!

First visit and can't recommend this place enough. Sat outside with a new baby and the staff couldn't have been more helpful. Great coffee and sausage sandwich as well!!!

I hadn't eaten at The Black Mulberry before and I could not fault the food. The steak I had was cooked to perfection and my lemon tart dessert was amazing. There was a great friendly atmosphere and the service was excellent. Will definitely be going back.

Excellent cafe for a bite to eat. I was part of a group of 18 who managed to get seated on the busy Easter Sunday. The menu is varied and very reasonably priced, the service friendly and efficient with the food coming out quickly. We could not fault our experience there. Would highly recommend this cafe.

The rebranding from Rascals has worked well, together with the new menu. The staff were helpful and friendly together with providing an effective service. Enjoyed the fare, that was well prepared and presented and would recommend it without reserve. Plus, you can take your dog.

Friendly cafe where you can eat inside or out, anything from a coffee to a full meal, yesterday it was outside for a lovely hot coffee, then lunch of garlic mushroom pancakes, all freshly made follow by scrumpy cake. Great place by the riverside to relax and watch the world go by, dogs welcome too

We just had a lovely meal and a few drinks as a young family tonight. We saw it was open later on a Friday and gave it a go and we are so glad we did! The staff were lovely and very inviting (even with an 10 month old!) the cocktails were delicious and the food was too! It was a great atmosphere for an evening. We will definitely be back again!

Had a lovely brunch here for my partner's birthday. I had a bacon and egg bap and he had a bacon bap, lovely tasting good quality food. Coffee was lovely too, they had oat milk and syrups, can't want much more than that !

The Black Mulberry has always a favourite place to go for breakfast but if possible it just got better with the introduction of the BM Big Bap to the menu! 😋 Awesome way to start the day, accompanied by the delicious coffee ☕️ Try it - you won’t regret it! 😁

Good selection of vegan options, and staff were knowledgable about gluten free food. I had a sandwich with gluten free bread and some delicious fresh soup :) Would love to see soya milk available, as oat milk is not gluten free :( EDIT: the oat milk is gluten free!! look forward to trying a coffee next time :)

Went for our first Black Mulberry Burger Night! Absolutely delicious, not to be missed. We had ‘The Elvis’ and ‘The Porker’ with generous sides of chips and onion rings. Friendly, attentive service and will definitely be back again!

Another fabulous lunch with great food. We were lucky, being a party of 7, but were quickly accommodated. It's really good, and we'll definitely be back again.
