Lovely friendly pub, we were welcomed like old friends and had a great afternoon in the sunny beer garden. Food truck on site for noodles and dumplings, good selection of beers. We’ll be back!

Enjoyed a couple of pints and a ploughman's. Well kept beer, great food and very efficient pleasant staff. Lovely walk from Great Bradley so, all in all, a most pleasant Saturday. Sat outside with dogs but were welcome to go inside.

We have always eaten here, especially the theme nights and always found the food excellent. This Christmas menu and wonderful welcome from Sue and John has been the best in these troubled times, you must try it and enjoy.

The food here was excellent, freshly cooked and the roast potatoes were the best I've had in a restaurant, straight out of the oven and so crispy. Eight different types of veg all cooked beautifully, would definitely recommend this pub.

Lovely lunch and lovely people. We arrived at 2.10pm and realised they stop serving food at 2pm. They asked the chef if they would be able to serve food, and they were accommodating. Highly recommended!

Lovely land lady and Lord. Needed a chocolate bar Midway through a century ride, they didn't have any We're sat outside with our crisps and Suzanne the land lady let's us have some of her private stash of chocolate digestives from her kitchen. What a lovely gesture. A proper hospitable mindset. I will recommend this pub after this......and I drank nothing!!!!

Had a lovely evening last night with friends. The steak deal is great value for money! Two rump steaks, fries, salad, grilled tomatoes and onions and a bottle of house red/white. Peppercorn sauce was delicious. Our friends had fish and chips, burgers, pies and vegetable lasagne, all plates were finished up! Lovely list of puddings, sticky toffee was the most popular and was moist and tasty! Really relaxing atmosphere, wood burners, real ales and child and dog friendly. We'll be back again soon!

Great food. Personally had the fried scampi with chips which was delicious. It is located in a small village and they have outdoor seats on sunny days. Would recommend !

Lovley pub just a shame they couldn't accommodate us for food at 12.40 because there were 20 people already waiting to eat.
