Arrived late and was told they had turned fryer off but they turned them on again and 10 minutes later we had 2 very tasty, fresh fish suppers. Great service and delicious food. Thank you
Nice, small village chip shop. Prefect for what the boyfriend and I were getting.
I got a fish supper. Boyfriend got the steak pie supper (again, apologies. Every time I go to take a picture of his meal he goes and puts tomato sauce on it!!) With onion rings (5 × £1.64). Onion rings were good. Can't go wrong with onion rings.
One thing the boyfriend noticed about his pie. It was the right shape! Phew...round steak pies don't taste the same. Everything was made to order. Steak pie got wolfed down with no complaints. The meat in the pie was chunky and full or flavour.
My fish supper was amazing. White, flakey fish and the batter was really light and crispy. The mushy peas tasted a bit burnt to me but they didn't ruin my meal. I will definately come here again on my Fish and Chip shop tour of Scotland.
Price for everything was about £16 approximately.
Ordered online for 1st time overall was an excellent service, food was piping hot.

I use The Steeple regularly, experiencing both collected and home delivered meals. I have never been disappointed with the quality nor quantity, as everything is cooked freshly upon ordering and there's always plenty of it. Prices are very acceptable in today's economic climate, with a good selection for all tastes in addition to a kids menu. I would certainly highly recommend The Steeple fish bar.

ordered from steeple chip shop for tea and received our takeaway really quickly as if rushed to get it out because I ordered on a app.
My child was left waiting on chips as no chips with the supper we ordered,we did get them but had to call up and then wait for them to arrive a bit later.
£2.10 for what I thought was a large bottle of juice and only got a small bottle for that price(shocking)on phone asked how much big bottles were and staff member said "I don't know".very helpful.
not to mention the chicken goujons were soggy and uneatable.
They were not properly cooked by no means I had to bin them and make something else up for my daughter I had in the house .
Such a shame as was a weekend treat for her.
Absolutely Wasted my money tonight at steeple ,everytime we ordered there is a problem with something so have decided we won't be back.
Really good fish and chips. Not expensive (around £9) and big part.

Good service, reasonable price. Have never had any problems with the food always been very tasty. Like how you can phone your orders in for quickness.

First time tried this chippy on Friday night and can safetly say it was great,friendly staff, clean all round and food prepared to order is the best,nothing like fresh food..why pay for something that's been sitting out for hours on the heater all dry etc,not here you don't.

I have fish and chips every time I go there. Chips are tasty and not crispy like other fish and chip shops. Staff friendly and helpful

Side order of peas would be my only gripe poor size and watery but suppers couldn't fault .
