Excellent fish 🐟 n chips. Friendly staff. Great prices and quantity were well proportioned. Take a way only which meant fast service. Had a bit of mix up on Thai food order however it had great flavors and traditional recipes.
Amazing fish and chips. We came here on our holiday and we were blown away by food and service. Very kind people who take orders quickly and a very short wait time for food. Would extremely recommend as the best chip shop and Chinese in Orkney.
I visited the Willows while on holiday and I have to say best chips I have had in a long time. You must try their home made Patties. The staff are great and have a smile always. Highly recommended
Went for Chinese options. Constant flow of customers for both Chinese food & chippy; chippy orders appeared to turn over really quickly. Chinese food wasn't bad at all.

Recommended by a lovely lady in the local Lidl. Blend of chippy and Chinese takeaway. Double Haggis supper was fantastic.
Food is excellent whether you are after a Chinese takeaway or fish and chips it's all well cooked and good value my only issue is with the time it takes to get your order even if it you have phoned it in but this could be a result of the quality as most people I know use this takeaway.

Went there yesterday as my cruise ship I work for was docked there. I asked a local guide for a recommendation for a chip shop and she mentioned a few and but this was “where the locals go”.
So yes, I took the 5 min walk from the main shopping street to go there.

i'm a big fan of the egg fried rice & lemon chicken here!!! but everything I've had has been really tasty and well cooked. wait times and queues are a bit long, but that's a sign of a place popular for good reason!!
The Willows is my favourite Fish n Chips in Orkney. Actually, it's more than just Fish n Chips as it does Chinese food as well. I was curious to see how they compared to Mainland takeaways. The chips looked and tasted great, but the real test for me was the white pudding, which I had last night.

Food was nice as always, but placed an order and then had to stand in a queue for over 40 minutes to collect.
Meanwhile taxi drivers were legitimately walking past the queue an collecting orders.
Didn't make sense because the queue was having things made to order, hence the wait.

Very nice tasty food, my favourite is the salt and chili chicken and salt and chili chips. Very spicy full of flavour and cheap. Srsff are friendly and polite. Always busy abd full of customers dye to it being popular. Best take out in orkney by far
