Great local family owned fish fry. We had the local fish and the chicken nuggets. Made to order and the fish was amazing. We sat and talked to other people who just stopped in. Give them a try. Yes it was crowded but worth the wait. They have a few tables also. Love the conversation
The food was fantastic! When we walked past the day before we went there was a queue of people out the door! All of them locals. You always know the best place to eat if there a queues of local people waiting to get in for food!

I had one night in Kirkwall whilst I waited for my return flight and was recommended the Harbour Fry and they were not wrong. The fish and chips was simply stunning.
If only I could return again tomorrow..!!

Nicest Haddock I’ve ever had. Chips were perfect. Had to try the black pudding fritter and haggis fritter. Absolutely outstanding. Highly recommend!

Friendly service with a good range on the menu. Very good.size portions and a good price. There's a choice of eating in or taking out. We enjoyed ours by the harbour looking at the different boats.

When in Kirkwall you must try a 'Pattie Supper' - mince & potatoes mashed with spices and deep fat fried, served with chips. Not found anywhere else in Scotland
