Fantastic lunch today. Gluten free club was superb - shows that even on a restricted diet, food can be tasty Plenty more to choose from too rather than having only one option on a menu - thank you Great food, great folk and great service!

Went along for a 'hen night with a difference' to the gin and cheese evening last night. Staff could not have been any more helpful and friendly. Even made us up a cake platter when we requested it. An absolutely lovely way to spend a saturday evening. Thank you.

Lecker! Hatten Orkney-Fudge Cheesecake & fantastischen Latte! Wer in Kirkwall ist, sollte hier einmal vorbeischauen: Alle Kuchen, Scones & Gebäck sind selbstgemacht und das schmeckt man!!

Loved this café. We had coffee and cake but wish we had eaten breakfast. Saw other people's food arriving and it looked lovely. Wish it was closer!!

It's not a fancy place, with fine china or silverware, there's no cashmere or grandfather clock. Still, there's comfortable seats, good coffee, excellent fresh baked goods and a feel that can only be described as homeliness. While sitting there I didn't feel like I was on a windy island in the north sea/north Atlantic, I felt at home. The prices were just right, and there's nothing I can flaw. I would definitely come back.

This is such a lovely café! The baked goods are delicious, l recommend the fruit scones. When l was there, they were just out of the oven. The lady who was there was friendly and very helpful.

Fantastic food! Can I repeat that? I had the Coronation Chicken, my wife had the pea soup, and we split a warm scone with jam and clotted cream. The owner provided great service and we feel like we made a friend in Kirkwall. The kind of place that brings a smile to your face when you remember your experience there!

This café is adorable! Very quaint and cute. The lady running it was so friendly and had scones just out of the oven when we arrived. She has great taste in music too!

Best coffee in Kirkwall! Lovely selection of cakes, with vegan and gluten-free options. Had their vegan carrot cake, and it was the best carrot cake I've had. Super friendly staff and cosy atmosphere!
